Remember last month when I wondered how challenging snake would be? Well... it sure was! But not for anatomy reasons, or lack of limbs haha. Snakes are just SO diverse it was an incredible challenge to generalize them enough for this transformation journal. With a lot of studying, I think I managed to make a few decent fabricated snakes that could fill in for many species. I didn't want to get caught up in the specifics of a particular snake, of course :P
But that's just artist ramblings!! I learned more about these little guys than I ever thought I would! Honestly, 50% of the time spent on these are often research... But I'd be lying if I said I didn't love the moment of having a whole page of snakes on my screen, deep in research, staring with furious intent as my partner walked in and started chuckling. It's for science!!
