R9 dome nearly ready for electronics.
🕑 Added 2018-03-03 18:18:32 +0000 UTC The test print of the R9 dome is nearly complete, it’s a nice build and I’m happy with the look, quite an unusual droid, so work thinking about.On other news, started the new version of the 2-3-2,centre leg mechanism. Don’t get exciting as it’s a long haul design but it’s started. Publishing the next video in the R4 series this weekend for all those dedicated Patreons ($5 and above). Hope the getting started with Fusion 360 and the sharing of the designs is useful. Happy printing,

Hi, in the wip folder there’s a R9 folder. All in there (Patreon share). I’ve printed and tested just not moved to the root yet.
Is there files for this dome yet as I can't seem to find them in the share file anywhere.

There’s kind of PSIs, three in total. Also the holos are smaller than standard scale based on (the few) reference pics.
Are there any logic lights at the dome? It seems there is no Picture of the other side. Right now, I just have seen Holos and PSIs.

Yeah, the files are already available :-) I do new stuff in the WIP folder. The files are in there in the Patreon share.
OK, stupid question from a relatively new patron... is this R9 dome going to be published for patrons to download in the future...? I'm already drooling. :D

Definitely enjoying the videos! Thanks for them. Also, very interested in seeing the new 2-3-2 mechanism. I just started printing body parts, so maybe the timing will work out for me to print that new mechanism once I get that far. :-D
