Kudos to Rorlin! I will probably visit the Periscope and Lifescanner later as I'm interested in pushing the boundaries, these look superb though.

Thanks Daniel, as I said, these aren't my designs so I'm not familiar with the fixings etc, they look promising though.

Can anyone explain how to connect the hinges pivot points? The holes on the print are tiny, what would you use to make the pivot point?
Thanks for the links, I'm giving the life scanner a try now. I printed a periscope already, so after checking out the lift mechanism, I might give a second one a print. Looks better then what I was trying to do!
