After a quick trip, Fuyuki had returned with the food Yumiko had asked for. Thankfully, he managed to avoid his mom, so she didn't ask why he had bought enough food for three people.
"S-shut up...!" Yumiko looked like she was about to orgasm as she ate.
Which was kind of hot. Seriously though, Yumiko Miura was definitely a girl who watched her figure, so this was surprising. Not in the way that he thought she still cared about that while starving, but in the way that he imagined she would have gone for a more familiar food.
He took a bite of his own burger. "Shuttin' up now..." This was the first time he was actually sharing a meal with them.
It was dark as hell, with the only light coming from the open magical door that lead to his room. He also didn't want to even imagine the state of their bathroom. Still, this was nice.
A fun little different between having animals for pets, and girls for pets!
Yukino too was devouring her burger. "D-don't listen to her, t-thank you for the food..." But differently from Yumiko, she was also trying to garner favor with him at the same time.
Honestly, he was beginning to wonder if maybe he should let her out already. The fear of her regressing into someone with their own thoughts was far too much however. It was safer to keep her locked up until this became the norm for her.
He grinned. "Don't go thanking me just yet! I have more plans for this place." He looked around. "I've talked with a buddy of mine, and your guys are getting electricity and running water."
The truth is that he could have done that at anytime he wanted to, of course.
"Ha-, guh...!" Yumiko choked on her own food at his announcement. Was it really that surprising?
He supposed it was, but he was getting on the "endgame" of breaking them. Or at least the endgame of this current phase. If this didn't go how he planned to though, he could always just take those things back as a lesson, though he would have to come with a good excuse for it.
In the end this was too much of a great opportunity to pass up though. Even though the things he was giving them were incredibly basic, things that any human deserved, they were currently so messed up in the head that they saw as winning the lottery. Even though he was the one who put them in this situation to begin with.
Yukino almost dropped her food, though she thankfully didn't choke. "Will you really do that...?" Her eyes were open wide in shock.
He nodded. "Yeah, it's complicated, but— Hey, you okay there Yumiko."
She finally managed to swallow her food. "Y-yeah, I'm fine..." And then she looked at him suspiciously. "I'm wondering though, where is this coming from...?"
He smiled. "From my desire to make the two of you happy of course—."
"Bullshit." She actually had the courage to call him out huh? Dealing with a Yumiko full of energy was a pain as always. "You may have this dumbass bitch over here eating at the palm of your hand, but don't think that applies to me."
Yukino sighed. "Here we go again, must you always make trouble...?"
Yumiko's eye twitched. "Do you even listen to yourself? This guy... he..."
Fuyuki interjected, trying to sound as sad as possible. "Yeah, I know there's no excuse for what I've been doing..." It was a shame that he wasn't a good enough actor to actually sob. "Sometimes I wonder if I could take things back, but..."
He looked at his own shaking hand. "The truth is that I think this was always the only path available to me." Nah, he could have totally rejected Satan if he wanted to.
But it was time to initiate operation "I can fix him". A very important tactic for any abusive relationship.
Yumiko glared at him. "Do I even want to hear where this is going?" Maybe it was too soon for that operation?
If she wasn't interested at all... "Well, if you don't want to hear it, I save it."
Yukino awkwardly raised a hand, she almost touched his shoulder, before pulling her hand back. "Maybe she doesn't want to listen, but I do. Please tell me." Oh, how cute.
She was trying to comfort him, but was too shy to touch him at the same time.
Yumiko pouted. "Well, I guess I will hear what I have to say." She huffed. "Don't think you will get any pity from me though." Considering her hidden, caring personality, he actually expected a ton of pity from her.
"Okay, so basically, I'm Lucifer's son." His backstory would actually be pretty convenient here. The best lies had a grain of truth and all that.
Yumiko rolled her eyes. "Oh, please. I do not have the time for this nerd crap." Wow, zero trust... Also, she should call it chuuni instead. Though she probably didn't even know what that meant.
He let out a groan of annoyance. "I'm serious here. The other day Satan came to my house and explained all of this to me." Right now that Satan was looking very confused, wondering what he was planning.
Fuyuki continued. "I mean, you guys have seen all the crazy stuff I pull out of my ass right? It's your pick, either I'm Lucifer's kid, or I'm some kind of alien."
Yumiko squinted her eyes. "Both sound unbelievable... but let's say we believe you. Where are you going with this."
He let out a sigh. "I wonder about that... I guess... Nevermind. Sorry that I even brought this up." He replaced his very fake looking sad expression with a overly excited happy one. "Just look forward to luxury like you have never seen before."
As he turned around to walk away however, Yukino grabbed his arm. "Fuyuki... you... you shouldn't let family define who you are." Oh? She seemed very passionate about this. "This whole talk about Lucifer sounds crazy, but if you're doing this why I think you're doing this, then..."
He hadn't even given her a reason why he was doing anything, she was just assuming. Yukino had pulled things off from her own experiences in life, and projected that on him. This was actually a pretty pleasant surprise.
He looked down. "I... maybe you were right once, but... I can't stop moving forward." And he couldn't cringe either, even if he really wanted to. "Still, I'm sorry that I pushed my selfish desires onto the two of you."
She finally let him go. "No, I'm the last person who can talk about pushing selfish desires in anyone..." He really had accidentally hit a important spot for her, hadn't he?
Yumiko interjected, clicking her tongue. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but drop this Lucifer talk Fuyuki. You can still... fix this. So..."
He waved at them, not even bothering to turn around. "I can't... Even if I tried, I would just spend the rest of my life in prison." The translation of his words were as thus:
I'm just a poor little (wounded soul) baby boy! Please have pity on me!

"You think all that Lucifer talk is real, Yukinoshita?"
The girl slowly nodded. "Yes. It sounds unbelievable, but everything about this situation is unbelievable in the first place." True enough.
Yumiko bit one of her nails in frustration. "This Lucifer guy... He's the devil or whatever, right?" How was she unlucky enough to get the attention of his son?
Yukino raised an eyebrow. "I'm surprised you don't know." Well, Japan wasn't exactly catholic, and Yumiko didn't care about the nerd type of media that would have Lucifer showing up.
The ice queen, being the insufferable smug bitch that she was, smirked. "Though maybe I shouldn't be surprised. Anyways, Lucifer isn't exactly a devil, to be more accurate he is a fallen angel."
She raised a finger. "Because he was envious of humans, he—."
Yumiko couldn't stand to hear her annoying voice any longer. "That's enough. I don't care." She crossed her arms. "One thing's for sure, there's nothing angelic about that guy—."
Just as she began to talk ill about him, she was blinded. For a moment she almost screamed, thinking an attack of some sort was occuring, but quickly she realized... that the lights of the room had simply turned on.
For the first time ever since she had been here, Yumiko actually got to take a look at the place she was held in. It was hard though, considering the tears leaving her eyes.
Those tears weren't of emotion, however. They were simply her eyes being hurt.
Yukino was feeling the same, wincing in pain. "H-he kept his word..." That's right, which meant...
Yumiko ran to the bathroom, and went to the sink. There, she saw a miracle. "Oh, we have running water again." Now she actually wanted to cry of emotion.
But she held herself back. "Great... I guess we can clean ourselves now." Sort of.
It's not like they had other pairs of clothes, or any cleaning products... but this was a start. Besides, she bet she could get some of those if she asked for it.
When did she start thinking so casually? Fuyuki wouldn't do ir for free, he would offer one of those... jobs. And she didn't know if she would actually be able to do what he would ask now. She had already kissed him, so things could only get worse.
Honestly, he was such a brat.
Yukino, who had followed her, smiled. "That's a relief. I'm a bit tired however, so I'll go back to sleep." She was still using those pills Fuyuki had given her.
Yumiko yawned. "Me too..." Fuyuki had woken them up after all, and it was only natural to feel sleepy after eating.
And so Yumiko Miura returned to her usual sleeping place, and closed her eyes. Today had been a good day.
Was that really a right thing to think?
The truth is that before this, she had a pretty good life. She didn't come from a super rich family like the bitch that was sleeping close to her, but it's not like she had anything to complain about. So...
But maybe it was exactly because she couldn't complain about her past life, that she couldn't complain about the current one. After all, while she had a good father who loved her, Fuyuki was apparently the son of Lucifer.
Typically the problems that her friends faced were easy to solve. Taking care of Hayama after he fell and hurt himself, forcing Tobe to study, things of that nature... it was all too easy.
Helping that brat would be way too much of a pain. She was totally out of her debt here!
Strange. She felt like something bad had happened.

"I'm sick." He noticed it as soon as he woke up.
Not only was his body unbearably hot, but his bed sheets were also all sweaty. Worst of all however, was how his head felt like it was about to explode. Maybe it was karma!? Or maybe Yumiko sucked at first aid and he got a nasty infection on his arm!?
Or it was something more nefarious. "Hey Satan, this isn't an attack from an enemy stand, is it?" It was crazy to ask that, but you never knew from this lifestyle.
The demon chuckled. "It is no such thing... No need to worry, I would have stopped any assassination of this kind from happening." He sounded extremely happy for some reason.
Fuyuki raised an eyebrow. "Really? After helping me at the start, you have been very hands off with this whole thing."
He nodded. "Indeed, and I believe it has helped your growth. However, there wouldn't be much to grown from if you had just been killed during your sleep. That is to say, I will let you fight your battles, but assassination is no battle."
That made a twisted amount of sense. Satan wanted Fuyuki to grow into the mighty new ruler of hell, but even the mightiest beings could theoretically fall to a knife hidden in the dark. So Fuyuki dying in such a way wouldn't exactly show he was lacking something.
Satan continued. "But what is happening here is no common sickness either... You are finally becoming a demon! Like a glorious butterfly about to spread its wings!"
Fuyuki's eyes widened. "F-for real!? What did I even do to trigger the transformation!?" He didn't remember doing something particularly awful recently.
Well, he was always doing bad things, Yumiko and Yukino being his captive was technically a continuous bad thing, but he had yet to break his evil limits. So he was beginning to think it would only happen once he raped or killed someone.
"It is not something specific that you did Young Master, but a coalition of all your evil deeds so far." He paused for a moment. "But if I had to pick your greatest growth in evil in recent times..."
He looked at the door that Fuyuki typically used to summon the door. "I would say it's the fact that today, in the darkest corners of her mind, Yumiko Miura promised to herself she would help you."
He almost burst out laughing in the spot. "Seriously!? Man, I was expecting Yukino to start doing that first, even if Yumiko's personality tends towards this type of behavior more."
Satan shrugged. "Yukino Yukinoshita was a broken person from the start, you just bended her to your whims. In that sense, Yumiko Miura is by far a bigger achievement. She was a mentally healthy young woman, one with a bright future ahead of her."
He hummed. "Then I'll gladly accept that accomplishment with pride." And maybe his future power would even reflect that. "How much time until the sickness goes away and I become a demon though?" It better not be a lengthy process.
Although at the same time, it didn't really matter. It's not like Kirigiri could have used him getting sick as any sort of evidence, and right now he had no big problems to deal with. It was just a inconvenience.
In the end he didn't have to worry however, as Satan reassured him. "By tomorrow morning your transformation should be complete. You will also receive your first power..."
He continued. "Now, what will you do until then?"
Fuyuki considered it for a moment, before grinning. "I'll do the thing I love thing I love the most. The thing I've been wanting to do for a while now... I'll skip school!"
And nobody could even complain. How twisted!

Fuyuki quickly found out something that completely broke his heart. His days of skipping school and just staying all day playing video games by himself was over.
He truly couldn't be called a loner anymore.
"I thought you were sick. So why is it that I find you playing video games with not a care in the world?" Mai was poking his cheek.
He pouted. "I am sick, not dead. Did you expect me to just stay in bed all day and night?"
That's right, his Senpai had come to check on him. He had sent messages to his friends, explaining the situation so that they wouldn't get worried, but apparently that was just not enough for her.
She huffed. "Yes, I did expect that. If you're feeling good enough to be rotting your brain, you're healthy enough to be studying." Geez, she was that type of girl huh?
He grimaced. "I'm gonna ignore you from now on. However, before I start doing so, I just want you to know that for a guy like me, any excuse to skip school is a good one." Especially when Satan accepted that excuse.
Her eye twitched. "Remember when the Ultimate Detective offered for us to skip a few days and we refused to do so?"
He grinned. "Did that happen? My memory must have failed me..." He hummed for a second, contemplating if he should tell her a bit of the truth. "jokes aside though, this is magical stuff."
She tilted her head. "Oh? Is that so?"
He nodded his head. "Yeah, I'm... right now I'm basically growing my level. Tomorrow I might become a giant lizard or something, by the way." He would get a demonic form, after all.
Until now she had been talking with him while wearing a mask of superiority, his comment however, had ripped off. "Are you serious...? I-Is that a good thing?"
"Yep. Don't worry though, it's not something permanent. I just get a new form." Hopefully it wouldn't be something embarrassing.
She let out a sigh of relief. "That's good to hear. So, will you be okay tomorrow?"
"Yeah, probably. Why?" Could it be...?
She smiled. "Because I've managed to arrange a meeting between me and Kana Arima. Naturally you will be dragged along... Although I must say, once you told me you were sick, I was preparing to break your heart."
Even if he had still been sick, he would have gone with her. No hearts would have been broken. "I'm surprised she accepted to meet you so quickly."
Mai smirked. "You shouldn't be. I'm on a completely different level from her... both popularity wise, and acting wise. So trying to garner my favor is only natural."
She continued. "That said, I bet she's just trying to drag me into that idol group of hers. B-Komachi..."
He tilted his head. "You have any interest on it?"
She shrugged. "Not really. Maybe. Just a bit. Do you think I could be the next Ai Hoshino?"
He chuckled. "I think you could be bigger. It would be kind of mean though, since you would show up and basically steal whatever popularity Kana might have managed to gather."
"That's tempting..." Hah, mean.
