I still choke up over each of my fur babies. Flea is my last and I got him as a kitten in 2006. He’s 19 now and I cherish every moment of his peculiar personality. I’ll weep more tears for him than any human Ive ever known for his love is pure and unconditional for his cat daddy.

She passed about 7 months ago, so it's been easier. But like grief of any kind, some things will suddenly bring up happy memories that make us miss her. Like that freaking comic *sniffle*. Thank you.

I'm really sorry about your cat. It's like losing a friend. I have a comic dedicated to it here https://www.patreon.com/posts/dedicated-to-my-100240282 It's going to be easier to deal with eventually, but for now just let yourself grieve

Our cat died a few months ago. Not the same as a flesh and blood child, I know, but we felt like this just looking at the little clay rock we had made of her paw print. This piece of art is good at showing what it feels to just sit near what's left of them and wish it was more than just a slab of memories.

FR lmaoo! It's so true

Character development be like: suffer

Seri

Oh my gosh, poor Raha 😭. Like yeah you're super strong and super fast but at the cost of something so dear to you.

Warwolf01

Poor thing, I would give her a hug if I was sure she wouldn't rip me in half

Natalie de Corsair

There was plenty of time for the antics before it happened. I also didn't set it firmly yet, it just fits Raha's character. And I do feel very bad for Gabi %)))

Gintasa

;.; but... Smolwolf antics... My *heart*

Bones

Oh no.. I didn't know heart break was on my Q1 2025 scorecard! I couldn't imagine losing one of my children!

Suh

This is so ridiculously saddddd, my eyes widened as soon as I saw the small grave stone and I was hoping it was someone else. Rough times

dill

Now I’m choked up even more…. It’s a reassuring view in a lot of ways but still a hard one. So much emotion here, and no wonder Raha acts like she does so often.

Symmetrymaster

Parents aren't meant to outlive their children...that'll never not be heartbreaking

Natalie de Corsair

The idea is that we return to the ground - and nourish other lives (plants) with our bodies. So good catch! Glad you noticed

dill

I don’t know how to phrase it, but the use of plant life and flowers just add another layer of feeling to this. It’s as if she’s clutching at them for a reminder of life.

Limelon

You portrayed her emotions so well 😭

Natalie de Corsair

Yes, you can read about it here https://www.patreon.com/posts/characters-guide-107757264

Aw, no….Raha…

Capsaicin Coffee

Is part of Raha's curse being more or less immortal? Sorry if you've answered this before in a previous post!
