Decided to put together the details of her design that I came up with. The point of this design is to imagine her as an actual spirit >:)
Originally Mari Lwyd is a Welsh tradition and a costume with a person inside who controls it; she doesn't have any arms or body of that matter, she's just a decorated horse skull + a sheet that hides the person. So the way you see her in my art - with skeleton body, skeleton arms and partial body transparency - is my take on her design that I came up years ago. And this is the way I've been drawing her since then x)
