General maintenance info/Discord
🕑 Added 2024-07-15 15:09:39 +0000 UTCI wanted to clarify some things to you because Patreon does like being weird sometimes.
1. Patreon likes to forget to send notifications/emails about the new posts. It can send an email, but not the notification in the app, and vice versa. On rare occasions, it doesn't send anything at all. It's usually fixed if I update the post with an additional notification. So if you see an updated post, but I didn't actually edit anything, it was made to help all the other patrons to see the post.
2. The app doesn't notify me about any new comments or likes on my posts if I happened to click the link with the post once - it just freezes at the stats the post had when I clicked it the first time. I can't see anything new unless I use the desktop version - so I can miss your comments and likes at first, but I'd check on them later.
3. I have a Discord server for patrons only. But it has trouble connecting patrons with their roles (members with no roles can't see art-related channels). If you have this issue, there's a guide how to fix it in the #announcements channel. Or message Lime, he manages this problem.
4. Patreon decided that my patreon-members-only post with the Discord link should be seen in public - I have no idea how and why. I had to delete the post because of it. If you want an invitation to the server, just message me here, I'm going to give you the link.
5. Other issues like when Patreon decides to change the layout, and it makes some of my posts look weird. So I'm experimenting with the previews and etc., trying to make the posts look more appealing.
In any case, I'm glad I have an opportunity to share my art with you. As patrons, you have all the privileges π And, besides general support, I appreciate every like and comment I receive (especially when I can see it lol). So thank you for being here, regardless of everything.
