Yeah, I was thinking a little aling these lines. I'd say maybe drop the 2nd panel (or combine his response, "ok" or a shrug, with him preparing like the 3rd panel), and add a 4th where you see some reaction to him for the punchline (maybe the singer's jaw drops, maybe people around him are staring in fright/disgust/annoyance, maybe he looks embarrassed as whoever stares).
