🕑 Added 2019-07-20 01:12:58 +0000 UTCI may have a lot to learn in digital art but that's nothing compared to traditional art. I'm more than a little lacking in that department so maybe I'll post some little reference doodles as motivation to get better. And maybe I'll also remember to draw them on watercolor paper and not in some cheap craft notebook. And also find a better way to digitize them. My phone's camera is messed up and the scanner ruins the color and blows it all out.

have you thought of colour correction in apps like adobe lightroom to fix the issue?

This is really really really nice. I love your soft style. So often people with an anime type style draw boys to be so lanky and pale and i imagine their bones rattling in their skin. Yours look healthy and happy and soft.

yeah i have a big stack of watercolor sketchbooks but its a universal art truth that you do all your best doodling on the worst paper

This is great, the watercolours lend themselves to your style I think. If you get watercolour paper you should try stretching it before painting, it stays flat and even when it dries which is probably easier for scanning :)

Also I should say, I don't think it's BAD it's just not on the same level as the digital stuff. It's always annoying to go from one medium to another and take ten whole steps backward. I just want to even the two out.
