I thought that the system already mentioned how his healing factor reacted to potions in the first book? It was soon after stealing it from Helios I believe, he took a healing potion and it said somewhere that his healing factor amplified it. I could be wrong though

It depends on if it’s immortality or invulnerability. If it’s just immortality, then you could always just commit suicide if you really get too tired of life. If it’s invulnerability, then you’re forced to live way past the age when your mind and emotional state would just be unable to appreciate anything anymore.

Thank you!

Wanted to say I like how you added wording to bring meaning to level ups.

I never understand the arguments against immorality. Even without immorality you see friends and family die. You are always capable of making new friends. Of course having a few long lived friends would be cool.

The next chapter will put an end to this hunt! You might have noticed that the last few chapters have been a bit shorter than usual. This is intentional - I'm trying something new with my writing process. I've typically aimed for 8k+ word chapters, trying to pack in everything I want to express and make each chapter feel like a complete experience. While I love creating those immersive, extended sequences, I've found that working on a single chapter for days at a time can lead to burnout and sometimes writer's block. When you're staring at the same chapter for too long, it's easy to lose yourself in the words and overthink everything. Don't worry though - I haven't burned out! But I recognized the warning signs and wanted to make a change before getting there. So I'm experimenting with some 2.5k-4k word chapters to create a more sustainable rhythm. This doesn't mean the longer chapters are gone forever! I'll still do those 10k or even 15k+ epics when the story calls for it, but mixing in shorter chapters gives me more space to breathe creatively. This change also means I'll be able to establish a much more consistent release schedule with actual release hours. This way, you can create a reading habit around the story instead of being taken by surprise with random email notifications (at times when you might prefer to be sleeping - sorry about that! I hate when that happens to me too). I'm actually enjoying this pacing—it lets me focus on tighter scenes while still moving the story forward, and honestly, it feels good to complete something and share it with you more frequently rather than getting stuck in perfectionist loops.  Let me know what you think of this approach! As always, I appreciate your support and feedback.
