🕑 Added 2023-01-15 22:42:56 +0000 UTCHey guys here is the latest mini design I've been working on. It's the first bug I've made that has weapons and that made me think what kind of weapons would a bug person have and what would they be made of?
In the end I decided it would be cool if everything was organic and bug like, so the shields they use are smaller shield beetles that can be thrown and crawl/fly back to them and their spears are legs from a larger long legged insect. I imagine all their stuff is bug related so when I make more bug folk in the future it will probably follow the same train of thought.
To add some variation each pose will also have three head variations (pincers, weird t shaped prong thing and antennae). I figured youβre all going to have a different preference of weird head thing but also it allows you to make different beetle factions. Last of all I made some shield beetle variations which I will mix in the poses.

Yes, MORE bugs! I would imagine bugs would need crushing or piercing weapons against each other, a slashing blow ain't working against a carapace.
