I doubt that there would be much difference since the material has to be consistent and you can see most issues because the material is transparent. Delamibation or any other issue would probably show itself as an optical deformation also

I would be concerned with consistency from shield to shield.

It's a chinese made UHMWPE helmet that we shot and tested for the next video. It stopped everything but had way too much backface deformation
