🕑 Added 2024-12-28 21:48:30 +0000 UTCTo me, I felt both proud and a little disappointed with my overall progress this year. I put out some outfits I'm proud of and some new characters. But I also felt this year that my lack of planning and organization led to models taking far longer than they should've. Initially, I planned to have all four CPUs get their Chaos forms by tackling them every few months. In the end, I only did three of them because I waited way too long to finally get to Chaos Black Heart. I planned to spend November updating a few models. Only two models got updated because I spent most of it slowly updating and fixing the Prom body they used.
My video output I've put out is also mixed. There were some videos I feel proud of, but I also feel I dropped the ball with a couple and got lazy with them and I've been neglecting certain characters far too much in lieu of others. I get that I have my own favorite characters that I want to do, but I also don't want to avoid characters you guys also like.
For this next year, I want to focus on improving these things. The lack of planning on my part led to me hitting burn out at several points this year despite my best efforts. There are new characters and outfits I want to do, but I need to get better at project management to do so.
Starting this year, I'm going to be making some changes to the content I put out.
- I'm going to start doing more polls for deciding what models and characters for videos to work on next.
- I'm going to go back to having consistent 4K uploads. Initially I saved 4K for special videos, then decided to do it for all videos early this year, but then I got lazy and went down to 2K because it's faster to render. I'm going to return to doing 4K videos and modify my work process so you guys can continue to get high quality videos.
- Something I want to start doing is more 'relaxed' videos. Ones without any fancy editing, credits, subtitles, or other post-production. Sometimes I just want to make a simple video and not have to go through all the editing all over again. I don't know yet how I'll implement these videos alongside more 'Quality' videos I put out, but I do feel like doing this could help me avoid burnout and use more characters.
- For a while now, I've been thinking about setting my models up for use in Blender. This is going to be one of my side goals for this year, as I'm not too familiar with how most standard rigs are set up in Blender. I'll probably have some of these available for certain Patreon tiers, but I haven't fully decided yet.
- As much as I love Neptunia and still want to do more, I do want to add a bit more variety this year to my videos by doing other characters and other franchises. I don't know if I ever made this clear to my CPUs, but I am open to using other models I haven't made myself, so don't be afraid to ask if you submit a request.
- As you guys saw from my latest video, I decided to try implementing "lewd" segments in the video, using animations I made myself. Another side project I want to do this year is start making more of my own animations and doing more "lewd" focused videos. It's a bit early to say what I'll do, but this is another thing I hope will add more variety to my content for you guys and allow me to move beyond doing just model edits and dance videos.

That's still a pretty good idea. I got to get better project management anyway. It's about time I broke out the spreadsheets XD

A suggestion on how to do your schedule/planning, you mentioned burnout, so maybe you should set up a spreadsheet, vomit all that you need, have, want to do, organize for a week by week, and if something doesn't get completed, just push it for 2 weeks later and come back after a week of another project. It should help with burnout at the very least, and should allow for a relatively flexible schedule, and give time for the mind to think on issues or unwind. I have vomited this idea out so it may be hard to read.

Yeah, for me the biggest issue is aligning the models, especially when it comes to different sized characters and hands supposed to align on certain body parts. For me, it's easier to make my own custom loop without running into as much issues. So far I've only had basic ones, but I hope I can eventually start adding more 'personality' to them

I really appreciate that you take the time and effort to make your own sex motions for your videos. I know there are many out there and some are even classics but A) they can be over used and B) not everyone takes the time to adapt them to the model they are using. I hope too see how you improve more as you keep up with it!
