I tried to deal with it for a while, but it was impossible. The VSF file can be read, but the expression data is lost. The problem may be the difference between the VSF project and the version of Unity used by BS. Instead, I made it possible to use lilToon in a different way.

Spectre

Been loving this mod a lot!! Is there any chance you could add .VSFAvatar support in the future? Id love to use specific shaders but .VRM doesnt allow that

nalulululuna

Sorry for the late reply. Does the sample AliciaSolid cause fps drop? If the drop is considerably greater than that on your avatar, it is due to the avatar not being optimized. To increase fps, reduce cameras as much as possible, don't use mirrors, don't use saber lights.

First of all, I just have to say that I was only recently introduced to your mods and they are so awesome! Thanks for creating them! Regarding my avatar mod, I am having alot of trouble when I import a vrm avatar. As soon as I load it, my FPS drops from 80 to 50 in the game and its alot of lag. I tried to use the controls you mentioned to reduce the load but it made no difference. Is there any other way to get my FPS back up using the avatar? If you need more info, Im on PCVR and I dont have full body tracking. And I am on 1.39.1. I use Virtual Desktop wirelessly and I am running the latest avatar mod version just downloaded a few days ago. im also using steamVR openXR.

nalulululuna

I am also using NalulunaAvatars with 1.37.1 and currently have no problems. I think the previous version had that bug when hand tracking was turned on. What version of NalulunaAvatars are you running? What HMD are you using? Do you use SteamVR's OpenXR or Meta's OpenXR? VirtualDesktop or AirLink or WiredLink? To know this kind of information, I basically ask you all to send me your log in a bug report. https://www.patreon.com/posts/about-reporting-95917478

Hey, I have an issue where every time I return to the menu after doing a track, my avatar is T-Posing and I have to recalibrate it. I've tried reinstalling the mod and it's still doing the same thing. Running 1.37.1 I got an error that said the avatar wasn't supported, but it's the same avatar I've been using since 1.35

nalulululuna

You need to make sure that the Intensity exceeds 1 in the emission color of the material, or it won't glow. If you send me the VRM file, I can look into it.

I am working on my mods for 1.37.1, but since there are so many, I am starting with the easy ones and have only published 7 now. NalulunaAvatars is one of the most complicated ones to deal with, but I'm sure I'll get to it, so please wait a little longer!

Anja

Hi, any chance this will be updated to work with 1.37.1? Would love to update to that version of the game but not without my beloved avatar :( Thank you for all the effort you put into this! <3

Kko Babe

i also did space Calibrate. not working

Kko Babe

hi! i can't fix Offset Z (i changed value, but noting is changed after new Calibrate), my avatars ankle still under floor. what should i try?

nalulululuna

It also supports CustomAvatar events, and some people have used that in the past. However, since the animations and facial expressions are also controlled by my avatar mod, there may be some overlap and some parts may not work.

Xentha

Hi again. I had a question about this mod as well. Custom Avatars has a Unity script called Event Manager which allows it to recognize when a map starts, ends, and a number of other things allowing avatar animations to trigger for those events. That doesn't seem to work for this mod, and I haven't yet converted the avatar to VRM. Is there something available to do that either for .avatar or .vrm with this mod?

nalulululuna

I am sorry I missed your comment here. I believe that you contacted me via message and we have resolved the issue. For those experiencing the same situation:. It is caused by the missing OVRLipSync. It is usually in the Lib, but sometimes you may forget to copy it when updating BeatSaber. it is included in NalulunaAvatars, so you can reinstall it to fix this.

Wolfang Cerberus

Hi there. I have a question about the Lipsync. It has been working for me in the past with no issues with my avatars, but recently the mouth has stopped moving when I talk. I made sure the correct microphone is selected and ticked the "LipSync Enabled". Do you have any tips that could sort this issue?

nalulululuna

I have plans to fix it, but it will take a long time because I have to write new shaders, so I will put them in when I completely rebuild the mod in the future, which is still a long way off. I think it would be less noticeable with the current settings with blue. Or maybe a Camera2 feature could be used to display avatars only?

Ghostscript

Do you have any plans to improve the avatar overlay feature? More specifically towards eliminating the sort of 1 pixel wide outline showing around the avatar in the color that the chroma key color is set to for the transparency. Or have any good tips as to how to eliminate it within the current capabilities? How apparent it is does depend on the color set, but since the usable colors depend on the avatar as well it's not always a possible solution.

SkyHighCharley

Perfect, thank you!

nalulululuna

No matter how many files are placed, they are not loaded, so the system load remains the same. Opening the settings screen will slow down a little, but up to about 100 files will be acceptable.

SkyHighCharley

I was wondering, does this use more system resources if you have 10 different avatars in the NalulunaAvatars folder vs say 2 avatars?

nalulululuna

When you create a VRM file in Unity, you should specify which parts of the body will be displayed/hide for the first person. Please specify ThirdPersonOnly for head and hairs on VRMFirstPerson component. This is the Japanese explanation, but I think you can read it with translation: https://vrm.dev/en/univrm/firstperson/univrm_firstperson

nalulululuna

Sorry I didn't notice your comments. Yes, the mod should be working fine in the latest beat saber version.

nalulululuna

I will soon release an update with some minor error handling added, but the current version is still working fine with the latest beat saber version.

Jackie

I'm using this mod and LIV for mixed reality. I can't seem to get the heads of the avatars to disappear from my real camera. For example, with the default avatar everything will work perfectly, but my real life head will have massive pigtails overlaid on me. The dress or rest of the body won't appear though, just the head and hair. Is there a way for me to keep this from happening while still letting me see the avatar in first person?

nalulululuna

I intend to implement an extension to allow the use of custom shaders in vrm in the future, but it is difficult to say very soon. I will consider the methods of doing so, including support for VSFAvatar. Currently, the NalulunaAvatars version of MaterialChange made by reiya allows the use of same famous shaders in vrm, but you need to read the Japanese explanation carefully to create the shader settings. https://github.com/Reiya1013/NalulunaAvatarsMaterialChange/releases/latest (edit) On second thought, beat saber requires shader rewrite, so VSFAvatar support is not an option. Those avatars will be displayed completely white in beat saber. I have to take a different approach.

Sharkacuga

Would it be posable to add VSF (like VRMs but with custom shaders) compatible files to the mod

nalulululuna

Please enable finger tracking in the Hand tab. To use finger tracking, you must copy all files in the zip, not just NalulunaAvatars.dll.

Br3uker

is there something special i need to set up to get finger tracking working? didnt find anything in vrm for it yet

SkyPubby

I hope progress on updating your avatar mod to the latest version is going well.

SkyHighCharley

Okay the new update works, haven't had any issues with it

SkyHighCharley

Excellent, I can't wait to try this!

nalulululuna

I'm thinking of something like a custom notes mod, with a dropdown on the left side of the song menu screen to switch between avatars. Do you think this will be useful?

SkyHighCharley

I have a bunch of avatars and if I could change the avatar from something like even a number eg 1 2 3 and have the avatar change via a command or even a mod that could work

nalulululuna

There is no command line. There is a function to change avatars from another mod, but it is not that smooth because of the loading time. Are you thinking of something like video making?

SkyHighCharley

Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to change avatars to a different one via a command line?

nalulululuna

Unfortunately, I cannot provide support for devices that I do not own. The reason I make the hip tracker mandatory is that without it, the movement would be quite strange. If you really want to use a facial tracker, you can use it indirectly by using the paid version of VirtualMotionCapture, which supports facial trackers, and sending the motion to NalulunaAvatars via OSC. VirtualMotionCapture also allows FBT without a waist tracker, but this is not recommended as the movement is quite strange.

nalulululuna

1. Use Alternative Play's one controller mode. I guess that's how this Chairo's video is shot. or 2. Put trackers on both wrists and assign them to both hands in Manual Mapping. This way the sabers and hands are treated completely separately. At least 5 trackers are required if you want FBT with this style.

SkyPubby

Any plan to support face tracking from the htc vive facial tracker? Also how about a way to play with feet saber without a hip tracker? I use OWO track to be my hip but over all it just caused more issues im curious if i can calibrate my avatar and it will just guess where my hip is

Leobizaz - Suffly

Hello! is there a way to disable one hand from holding the saber? for use with maul style Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o27W2ELMfho Mine looks like this: https://youtu.be/F0T1v0TQtBc
