“Come and see.” Said Seth, his body turning fuzzy as he disappeared from Iris’s sight.
Iris smirked, and her energy erupted behind her.
After Seth appeared in front of her again, she looked at his burnt clothes and asked: “Do you really think I didn’t figure out your disappearance trick as I chased you here?”
Following her words, flames started converging toward Seth from all sides.
Seth expanded his time energy to delay the attack long enough for him to teleport away once more, appearing a few feet to the side.
A sword of destruction took form in his hand. He teleported behind Iris again, his sword aiming at her heart while he extended a hand toward her neck. He also used his time energy to slow down her time.
Iris didn’t fight back this time but flew forward, turning around after making some distance from Seth.
“Do you think the same trick will work twice?” she asked, the air energy she left behind gathering to squeeze Seth alive.
Feeling the pressure on his body increase, Seth activated his space energy while decreasing the size of his body so his teleportation won’t be interrupted.
When he reappeared on the ground again, Seth was the size of a five or six years old kid.
Seeing him safe while increasing the size of his body back to normal, Iris spoke again.
“An energy that slows my speed and the speed of my energy activation.”
“An energy that changes your body shape and size.
“An energy that allows you to move seamlessly from one place to another.”
“Destruction energy…”
“It is impressive, but if that’s all you have, you stand no chance. Why are you not using your ability from back then? Or you can’t?”
Seth smiled and shook his head: “I don’t need it to win.”
Iris scoffed and started flying towards him on her own, her energy turning her body into a ball of flame heading towards Seth.
Seth’s smile disappeared and, contrary to Iris’s expectations, he created a destruction shield and stood his ground.
When Iris reached close to Seth, and her fire energy erupted towards him, Seth raised his shield, feeding it energy constantly, and extended a hand through the flames towards her neck.
Iris frowned and got a bad feeling when she saw the hand coming towards her. Pushing her air energy forward, she canceled all her momentum and pushed herself backward.
Blood was flowing down the corner of her mouth, and all her clothes were gone, but she didn’t seem to care as she stared at Seth’s still outstretched hand.
Seth was not in a much better condition, his knees being broken with blood flowing freely out of them. His clothes were also gone, and half of his body was completely charred.
After letting his destruction shield dissolve, his charred skin started falling down his body and his knees snapped back in place as he lowered his hand and smiled at Iris: “Why did you back down? Are you finally scared, Protector of Oath?”
Iris’s uneasiness grew as she spotted Seth’s body regenerating at a crazy rate. The feeling she got from his hand also told her that no matter what, she must not let him touch her.
“No matter how great that ability of yours is, the source fueling it is for sure its weakness. As long as I manage to destroy your sources, I want to see how long you can keep smiling.”
Seth shook his head and said: “You’re wrong. My ability to regenerate is not connected to any source. It’s coming from something greater than you could ever imagine.”
As he was speaking, he pulled out a small vial of energy from his storage space and drank it.
Iris’s eyebrow rose and she asked: “Do you really think this fight will last long enough for you to absorb that energy?”
Consuming vials to recover energy was a common practice during really long fights. Still, the speed at which the energy was processed was too slow to be reliable in a duel between a sixth shell ascended and a fourth shell one.
Seth threw the vial to the ground and teleported again, moving in quick successive blinks straight toward Iris. Iris started flying back in response and changed her tactic to throwing sharp, concentrated energy spears toward Seth’s body.
Seth kept pushing forward, but after failing to dodge a spear, he was pierced through his left leg and pushed toward the ground. Seeing the rain of spears heading toward him, he teleported away from their direction, and his back hit the ground, creating a half-foot hole into it.
Iris looked at him with a frown, but instead of attacking herself, she sent a new wave of fire spears, forcing Seth to continue blinking around the field.
“How long are you going to fight like a pussy?” yelled Seth while blinking nonstop, causing Iris’s eyebrow to twitch in annoyance.
Not that she didn’t want to get close and crush Seth, but his repeated attempts to touch her made her reluctant to get into close range.
Seeing that Iris was ignoring his taunts while attacking from high ground, Seth changed tactics, starting to hurl destruction spears back at her.
Iris started dodging them easily when one of the spears aiming at the right side of her chest suddenly sped up. Iris quickly moved to avoid it, but she was not fast enough, and the spear managed to graze the side of her abdomen.
Quickly floating upwards, she stopped her attack momentarily and looked down with a frown.
‘It’s the same energy that made my energy and body sluggish. So it also works like this…’ thought Iris while bringing her hand to her small wound, using her fire to burn it.
Seth looked at Iris high in the air, taking this chance to catch his breath.
‘As long as she keeps that distance, there’s no way I can get to her. System, how are my reserves?’

‘She’s winning the battle of attrition… her energy pools are immense, and she barely used any of it….’
“I must say, Iris, your body is indeed a work of art. I would feel bad leaving any more wounds on it.”
Iris looked strangely at Seth and said: “What game are you playing now?”
Seth smiled and made his dick raise as he said: “None, I was admiring a marvel of nature. And I’m not the only one.”
Iris ignored his taunts and attacked once more.
‘Well, it was worth a try…’ thought Seth as he started another wave of dodging Iris’s attacks. Still, it proved much harder this time as Iris’s patience was mostly gone.
The number of fire spears filling the sky increased, and Seth also had to use his destruction and time energies to create space between her attacks.
Looking at the angel of death flying above, Seth was getting annoyed. Iris was not giving him a chance to launch a single attack back.
‘Do I have to use my divinity? If I use it to make an opening and fail, I’ll be dead to the aftereffects of using it. If I use it on her, I might kill her….’
Getting more frustrated with every minute he spent in a passive position, Seth finally slipped up. His timing was a bit off, and her attack broke the space energy covering his left foot.
This caused his teleportation to be incomplete and leave his foot behind. Ignoring the pain from his foot, Seth erupted his time source as soon as he arrived after teleportation.
He froze all the incoming spears, forming a ball of flaming spears around himself, all traveling at a snail’s pace while eating away at his time energy.
As he started regenerating his leg, Seth teleported away from his done of time and appeared half a mile away from Iris.
Iris immediately followed him, barely a second later, appearing in the air above him. Smirking at Seth from above, she said: “Looks like someone is getting anxious.”
Seth ignored her words and rechecked his energies.

Taking a deep breath, Seth stood up, and his creation energy started leaving his body, spreading all around the field.
Iris immediately felt the unknown energy and moved further away from Seth. Her energies started protecting her body as she got ready for whatever trick Seth would pull next.
‘He has more? How many energies does he cultivate?’
After all the creation energy was entirely out of Seth’s source, it started materializing into a wide field of small tree saplings. Iris was stunned as she watched all those trees when she noticed Seth’s body begin to change again.
His form started appearing more and more familiar. A sudden sorrow and uncontrollable rage bloomed inside Iris when Seth’s transformation was complete.
“YOU DARE.”
“Long time no see, kiddo. Do you remember the words I told you when we last saw each other? A tree might grow dry, but as long as the forest is green...”
Iris’s body shook as she looked into the face of the man she had not seen for so long. A man that she had cared for more than anyone else in the entire world.
That’s right, Seth had changed his looks to match Aidan, the other party behind Iris’s oath. The king who sacrificed his life for her despite her being nothing more than an orphan.
The first person to show her love and happiness. The closest thing she ever had to a father and mentor.
“How?…” - muttered Iris, her entire body trembling as the rage from earlier turned into visible confusion.
Her energies dissipated for a moment before a more potent rage appeared in her eyes.
“YOU ANIMAL.” She yelled as her fire source exploded with energy, and a strong wind propelled her forward, creating a sword out of fire and aiming it straight at Seth.
“Kiddo, are you not happy to see me?” said Seth with a heartbroken look, causing tears to appear in Iris’s anger-filled eyes. When her sword was about a few inches from Seth, she closed her eyes on instinct, not wishing to see her sword pierce Aidan’s face.
‘Chance.’ Thought Seth, allowing the sword to pierce right through his neck as he pushed forward, placing his hand straight onto Iris’s chest.
The next moment, all his lust and perception energies exploded out of his source, entering Iris’s body.
Feeling dizzy and hot, Iris opened her eyes. Her air energy exploded out of her source as she flew backward immediately.
Seth’s body, or what was left of it, remained in place. There was now a gory hole in his neck, and even three of his sources became visible; their outer shells cracked.
Iris fell to her knees as soon as he brought some distance between herself and Seth, her chest heaving uncontrollably.
She could feel her mind getting fuzzy while her private areas started leaking uncontrollably. Still, she fought against the strange feelings and looked at Seth’s unmoving body.
“It’s finally over,” she muttered with a sigh of relief before looking away from Seth and down at her own body. “What did he do to me?”
A sense of shame rose from the depths of her soul, and she brought her thighs together, but it barely did anything to help. A soft moan left her lips as soon as her thighs touched each other, making her feel more ashamed.
Fighting against the horniness taking over her body, she was about to try to stand up when a laughing voice resounded in her ear.
“The Protector of Oath wetting herself in battle like this… what would the people think?”
Iris’s heart sunk and she looked forward, seeing Seth looking back at her with a wide smile. His body seemed completely fine, all the damage from earlier gone in an instant.
“Impossible. No energy was coming from your body, and your heart stopped.”
Seth started walking towards her while reading the notifications in his vision.

The last attack came close to obliterating three of his source, and he used all of his destruction, time, and space energy to block most of her energy.
He also flooded Iris’s body with both his perception and lust energies. He was as weak as a human right now, but one couldn’t tell it from the giant smile on his lips.
Iris’s eyes showed a deep trace of fear as she started crawling backward with each of Seth’s steps.
Her mind was torn between fear, hopelessness, and lust. Her body was hot, her nipples standing as hard as her clitoris while her fower leaked uncontrollably.l
“You’re not human~” she muttered, but her voice took on a sensual tone as her behind kept grazing against the earth underneath. It was like her entire body had suddenly turned into an erogenous zone, and the more she moved, the further down the pit of abyss she could feel herself falling.
Seth arrived before her, his erect rod standing proudly under the moonlight. Iris tried to look at Seth’s face but her eyes kept darting toward his lower body.
Her mind was in chaos, her body was in heat and even her mouth started salivating while staring at Seth’s rod. She stopped moving back, her mind unable to think clearly as her carnal desires were beginning to take over.
‘I have lost.’ A thought passed through the muddles mess inside her mind, and behind all the unwillingness this thought brought her, she was relieved.
Seth looked at her glazed eyes stuck to his private areas before bending down, moving his hand to touch her delicate thighs.
“I could take your right now.” He said, his hand moving gently, but her body already started trembling as more and more liquid was leaving her cave.
Seeing her pleasure-crazed face, Seth sighed and shook his head before placing a hand on the right side of her chest.
“I’m sorry, but this is for the best.” He whispered as his eyes flashed a bright dark-red color for a brief moment.
The next moment, a trail of blood leaked from the side of their mouths, and Iris fell unconscious.
Seth allowed her body to fall to the ground before heaving a sigh and collapsing right next to her.
In that barren and empty field, unknown to any other human or ascended, the powerful Protector of the Oath Kingdom had ultimately fallen.
