A choice at the peak

Seth chuckled and explained his hypothesis to her. Hollie nodded with a pondering look and said: “It makes sense… so you want me to help you try to reenact what happened before with Henrietta to prove it?”
“Indeed.”
“But I don’t really have anything I truly desire like the others did…” said Hollie with a frown.
“Oh, don’t you?” asked Seth with a chuckle. “Soul Links work both ways. If I could access the memories in other’s souls, you should be able to access mine as long as I allow it.”
Hollie immediately got excited at his words and said: “I’m in. Let’s try.”
Not knowing how to start, the two placed their foreheads together, and Seth began to revolve his lust energy while Hollie focused on her curiosity about the future.
Sadly, other than Seth getting hard and Hollie wet, nothing much seemed to have happened.
“Pant... It seems… pant… our experiment… pant.. backfired.” Muttered Hollie, her hands moving to rub Seth’s crutch.
Seth also had an intoxicated look as he nodded back, his hand finding its way inside her pants.
Hollie looked down, biting her lower lips when she felt Seth’s fingers playing with her lower lips and his lust energy traveling throughout her entire body.
While heavily panting, Hollie muttered: “I know why it didn’t work, but there’s no way I can focus right now...”
Seth pushed two fingers inside her, and as she opened her mouth and was about to moan, he sealed her lips with his.
Hollie also strengthened her hold on his dick, moving her waist up and down on his fingers, rubbing her insides against them.
Her hands clumsily started trying to undo his pants while she joined him in a fierce kiss, but in her eagerness, she couldn’t figure out how to unbuckle his belt.
Just as Seth was about to help her, Hollie’s hands released her air energy, slicing Seth’s pants to shreds.
As Seth broke the kiss and gave her a questioning look, Hollie muttered with a glazed look: “I can’t take it anymore. ~”
She then shredded her clothes and placed her watering lower lips straight above his dick. With one swift move, she dropped on it, letting Seth’s dick slide deep inside her.
“Ahh~~ At last~~” muttered Hollie next to Seth’s ear, her vaginal walls contracting and relaxing around his quivering rod.
Rubbing her hands on Seth’s back, Hollie bit on his earlobe while starting to move her waist slowly up and down.
“Don’t hold it in~~ Seth~~ give it to me~~” muttered Hollie, able to feel Seth’s rod trembling inside her with every thrust.
“Argh~~” Seth groaned and stopped trying to keep himself from coming, his sperm starting to fill Hollie’s womb.
“Ahhh~~ YESS~~” yelled Hollie through clenched teeth, biting into Seth’s ear as her thighs started shaking while cupping Seth’s waist.
Once Seth finished cumming and heaved a sigh of relief, Hollie said through labored breaths: “Don’t pull out yet. Revolve the lust source again and direct all the energy towards the mark on my womb.”
Seth didn’t understand but said: “To reach your womb, I will have to cum again.”
Hollie nodded and lifted her waist upwards again, the semen from their previous bout leaking by its sides, before allowing herself to drop again with a wet sound.
“Ahh~~ Tell me about the future~ Seth~,” said Hollie before raising her waist and dropping on his cock again. “Ahh~~”
Seth felt himself going crazy, her pussy tightening around his dick like it was looking to milk him. Still, he knew Hollie had a plan and started speaking about the future between each of Hollie’s movements.
“Ahh~~ More~~ tell me more~~” Hollie would occasionally moan, causing Seth’s mind to barely be able to focus on remembering the past.
Eventually, the stimulation was too strong, and he said through his gritted teeth: “I can’t ~~ I’m coming.~~”
“Ahh~ Come~” whispered Hollie into his ear, her pussy suddenly clenching onto his cock as a small air current drifted around his glands.
“ARGH~~” with a grunt, Seth released a load full of lust energy inside her, filling up her womb once again.
Hollie’s entire body started shaking, her nails digging holes into Seth’s back, and she used her last bit of consciousness to whisper into his ear: “Show it to me~. The path of a god~”
Both blanked out the next moment, falling on the bed with satisfied expressions marring their faces.
“Did it work?” muttered Hollie, holding onto her forehead while lifting herself up. As she opened her eyes, she noticed that she was in a completely unfamiliar place, and a smile appeared on her face despite her horrible headache.
“It looks like it did.” She muttered when she noticed a topless man sitting on the bed with his eyes closed while tendrils of dark-red energy revolved around him.
He was tall with a muscular build and long dark-red hair tied behind his back. His face and body were slightly different, but Hollie could still recognize him at but a glance.
“Seth…” she muttered, and the man’s eyes suddenly snapped open, looking towards her.
Hollie was surprised and looked down at her hands, noticing that they seemed somewhat transparent, as she asked: “Can you see me?”
The man snorted, and a cold voice resounded into Hollie’s ears. “Annoying fly.”
The next moment, her astral body was enveloped entirely by destruction energy, making her entire vision pure turn dark red. She screamed in fear at the start but soon realized that the energy was only passing through her, not hurting her at all, and she heaved a sigh of relief.
‘Why can he see me?’ thought Hollie as she walked away from the cluster of destruction, moving to stand in front of the man again.
Seth stopped his attack and frowned as he closed his eyes and said: “A soul construct. I don’t know of anyone having reached that level yet. Who are you?”
Hollie also frowned and asked, “How can you see me?”
Seth snorted at her question and sent a new wave of destruction energy toward her. Hollie didn’t panic this time, but as soon as the energy touched her astral body, a horrible pain followed, and she screamed in horror as every fiber of her being got destroyed.
The last thing she heard was a loud scoff before her consciousness disappeared.
She thought she was dead, but it appeared her luck was not so bad as, after blanking out in that room, she woke up again in a completely different space. She was now floating through what seemed like empty space, with no soul or being around her.
After looking down and seeing her astral body appear to have somewhat recovered, she muttered: “What the hell was that?”. She then looked around at the empty space and asked: “and where did I end up now?”
“Are you sure that’s what you want?” A familiar voice sounded behind her, and she turned around to see herself sitting behind her desk back inside her class at the academy.
“That’s the only place where I can get the knowledge I’m looking for, teacher Hollie. You have helped me a lot, but there’s only so much an air ascended can do.” Another voice resounded, and Hollie turned to see Seth sitting beside her.
Moving to the side, she looked around the classroom and quickly realized what was happening: “memories of us from the former timeline….”
“Alright. If you ever make it and return, I hope you won’t forget who helped you ascend.” Said past Hollie.
Seth smiled and bowed respectfully: “I won’t, teacher. When we meet again, I’ll share all the knowledge I manage to get my hands upon.”
Past Hollie nodded and watched Seth leave her classroom. After Seth was gone, Hollie noticed that her surroundings had changed as well, and she followed Seth as he walked the academy halls.
“My cognition is tied to his. Makes sense.” Muttered Hollie as she continued watching Seth journey out of the Kingdom of Oath.
She saw him sneak out of the kingdom of Oath and arrive in Hope, where he had remained as a student under a princess of the Kingdom of Life and Death called Alice.
Years passed, and soon Seth reached the same level of power as that princess.
“I’m leaving, teacher.” Said Seth one evening, making Alice drop the vial she was holding.
Alice lowered her head and started picking up the pieces of the vials that had just broken as she asked: “Have you decided?”
Hollie couldn’t see Alice’s face at that moment since she had her back towards Seth, but there was an unmistakable sadness in her voice.
“I have.” Replied Seth with an indifferent voice.
“I see… Good luck, Seth.”, said Alice.
Seth nodded before bowing and saying: “Thank you for everything, teacher.”. After thanking Alice, he didn’t look behind even once as he left the small tavern and started traveling north again.
Hollie, forced to float beside him, looked back towards the tavern and muttered with a somewhat lost look: “Did you know about her feelings?”
No one answered her question, and Seth continued to travel north. She watched him as he registered at the destruction school of the Death Kingdom and continued growing stronger before reaching the limits of the knowledge there and leaving.
“Seth, wait one more year. We’ll both travel together after I graduate.” Said a beautiful emerald-eyed girl while crying her eyes out on the ground in front of Seth, but Seth’s eyes remained as indifferent as before.
“I can’t wait. I’ve already learned everything I can here, and now I must move on.” Were his words as he once more turned around and walked away under the girl’s bawling cries.
Seth then traveled south, passing through the Kingdom of Love and heading to the Kingdom of Life. There, he worked as an ascended mercenary for the Queen, helping her take over the throne from her tyrant king and eventually get the thing he came for. An old crumpled map.
“Your Highness, our deal is now over. I wish you the best of luck in the future.” Said Seth with a slight bow towards the Queen.
The Queen had a forlorn and tragic look as she asked: “Have my feelings never meant anything to you?”
Seth shook his head and said: “I apologize, your highness, but I only have a single goal, and nothing will ever stop me from achieving it.”
“To become a God? That is but a myth… Can’t you remain here?”
“I’ve already made my decision, your highness. Goodbye.” Said Seth, turning around and heading towards the door to the throne room.
“I love you, Seth. Please don’t leave. My people need you. I need you.” The woman’s begging and tragic voice came from behind him, but there was no hesitation in Seth’s steps as he walked out.
Hollie continued watching Seth’s journey, watching him grow stronger bit by bit, moving from one place to the other, leaving behind people who considered him a friend, brother, or lover.
As the seasons changed and the years passed, Hollie’s frozen heart couldn’t remain indifferent to the pain he had left in his wake. What hurt her more was the answer she came to when she asked herself: “Would I have done the same?”
As Seth had just run his destruction sword through the heart of a woman that had betrayed all the world for him, Hollie fell to her knees and started crying, her astral tears fusing together with the blood that was leaking out of that woman’s heart.
“Sigh… have you seen enough?” a soft voice resounded behind her, and Hollie turned around to see Seth looking at her with a kind and apologetic look.
Unable to contain her bitterness, Hollie rose to her feet and started smashing Seth’s chest with her fists while crying and asking, “Why? Why? Why? Why?…”. She didn’t even care how he was there; she wanted an answer.
Seth held Holly in his arms and looked at his own back that was walking away from the bloodied body of a woman that had loved him wholeheartedly.
Sighing again, he said: “Because this is the moment I finally understood the concept of destruction, and our wills had become one. This is also what you wanted to see.”
“What does that mean?” asked Hollie, continuing to punch his chest while crying her heart out. “How can you make an excuse for something like that?”
“Do you really not understand? After everything you’ve seen?” asked Seth with a sigh, watching as the image around him changed and the Seth in the memories started spreading his energy, encompassing the entire world.
Hollie looked up, and her fists stopped in horror as she heard the cries of the people dying all around.
“To reach godhood in destruction, one must destroy himself.” Said Seth, looking as the entire world was slowly crumbling under his past self’s power. “Despite everything you have witnessed, this world was everything I was, knew, or cared about… and it had to go.”
