"Seth, we're alone."
🕑 Added 2022-11-12 12:00:05 +0000 UTCWhile listening to the food staff describe their experience with the king, Seth consulted the system.
‘I still need this idiot alive. Any ways to prevent these poor girls from getting tortured to death?’
<Host can have the girls simply mention the Council.>
‘Oh.’ Exclaimed Seth, a small smile appearing on his lips. ‘Are they dressed?’
<Affirmative.>
Seth turned towards the chatting women and cleared his throat. After gaining all their attention, he smiled and said: “I have a solution that might work.”
Seeing that he caught their interest, he continued: “Next time he thinks about hurting you, simply say, ‘The Council will find out about this.’. The king won’t dare hurt you anymore after that.”
Katy, who was the one closest to Seth, asked the question that was on everyone’s minds. “What’s this Council?”
“Hehe, nothing you girls must worry about. Just try it. I promise nothing bad will happen to you.”
The girls still looked apprehensive, but Seth just closed his eyes again and ignored their further questioning. He had already given them the solution. What they wanted to do with it was their own problem.
Not even two hours passed when a soldier peeked inside, and a new girl was summoned to warm the king’s bed. Seth monitored the situation out of curiosity on how it would go but was disappointed to see the woman seemed too scared to follow his advice and just endured her torture.
When she returned to the carriage a few hours later, all bruised and cut, the others looked inquisitively toward Seth.
“What are you all looking at me for? She wouldn’t be in this situation if she did as I told her.”
Katy understood what Seth meant and turned towards the woman treating her cuts. “You didn’t do it?”
The woman winced once while cleaning a wound and shook her head: “I was too scared… What if things got even worse?”
Katy lowered her head and asked herself, ‘Would she have the courage to threaten the king?’ probably not. With a sigh, she fell silent, as did the others inside the carriage.
Seth also remained silent as he slowly directed life energy to heal the woman’s wounds.
Night came, and the same thing as the former night happened again, but even the newly chosen woman seemed too scared to do it, and she suffered an even worse torture than the last one.
Katy was once more resting her head on Seth’s shoulder, as she had started making a habit, but this time she was not sleeping even if it was deep in the night.
“Are you asleep, sir?”
Seth was just cultivating and opened his eyes. “I am not. What is it?”
“Do you think Sana will do it?” asked Katy.
“Is Sana the girl who was picked up this evening?” asked Seth, and Katy nodded in response.
“She will not. Like the last girl, she’s too scared to do it.”
Katy sighed and remained silent, trying to fall asleep.
Morning came, and Sana returned to the carriage, even more bruised than the last one. The atmosphere in the staff carriage kept getting heavier with each passing day, the girls now barely making any single noise.
A little past noon, a soldier peeked in to summon another girl, when, to everyone’s surprise, Katy raised her hand and said: “Can I please go today?”
The soldier seemed indifferent and said: “Come.”
Katy squeezed Seth’s arm once and stood up, walking towards the carriage’s exit under everyone’s surprised gazes.
‘Show me what is going on inside the king’s carriage.’ Asked Seth. His vision changed, showing the interior of the king’s carriage.
The king was sitting on a lavish bench, dressed only in a long robe and no underwear, while enjoying a glass of wine. He looked slightly agitated as his leg kept bouncing up and down.
The door of his carriage opened shortly after, and a red-faced Katy walked inside. Her head was slightly lowered, and she held tightly to the hem of her clothes as she approached the king.
“Haven’t you already had your turn? Are you hungry for more?” asked the king with a perverted smile, standing up. His robe parted down the center, revealing his naked body and stiff rod.
Katy gulped and shook her head as she said: “Your highness, I came today to ask you to stop hurting us. Please spare us.”
The king and even Seth raised an eyebrow, wondering what she had planned. The king seemed somewhat pissed as he frowned and clenched his fist while asking in a harsh tone: “What did you say?”
“I - I said that you should stop hurting us.” Replied Katy, her entire body shaking from fear.
The king got even more enraged, his fist moving swiftly and hitting her in the face, making her entire body fly straight into the side of her carriage.
“You little bitch. I was too kind to you or something?” as his words ended, the king grabbed his cup of wine and threw it in Katy’s face.
The cup cracked, creating a small cut on the side of her face, the blood and wine fusing while flowing down the sides of her face.
Katy’s cheek was already swollen, with blood flowing down her nose and the side of her mouth, and the fear that was now gripping her heart made her unable to even move as she watched the king pick up a small knife and start walking towards her.
Her legs started pushing against the carriage floor, trying to move farther away from the king, but no matter how much she tried, the wall behind her stopped her from going any further.
Her eyes fixed on the knife that was sure to end her life today grew fierce as she looked up and gathered all her courage to say a single phrase.
“The Council will find out about this.”
The king’s steps froze as a small smile appeared on Seth’s lips inside the staff carriage.
With a shaking voice, the king asked: “Who are you?”
Katy noticed the king’s expression change and how his dick immediately went limp, and a sense of excitement grew inside her.
‘He’s scared.’ thought Katy, finding looking into the king’s terrified face somewhat satisfying and empowering.
Sitting up with difficulty, she looked back at the king and said: “Nothing you must worry about. Injure one more girl, and the Council will find out about it.”
Once her words ended, she turned around and started to walk out, her heart beating wildly inside her chest. She feared she couldn’t hold on to her fake bravery for much longer, thus deciding to just leave as soon as possible.
The soldier just outside the carriage seemed surprised to see her leave so early, but with no word from the king, he just let her go.
Katy returned to her carriage, her expression unchanging until she walked inside. Once the curtain at the entrance was drawn again, she broke into a loud wail before rushing into Seth’s arms, bawling her eyes out.
“Shh… you did well.” Muttered Seth, slowly moving life energy to heal her injuries.
Seeing the other women about to disturb her, Seth shook his head towards them, indicating they should not bother her and continued rubbing her back.
Katy continued crying for a long time and, when she finally was left with no more tears to spill, looked up from Seth’s arms and said with a red face: “Sorry, sir, for wetting your clothes.”
Seth looked at the wet stain on his shirt before chucking and saying: “Don’t worry about it. I’m glad you found your courage to fight back.”
Still reeling from their wounds, Sana and the other women looked toward the two and asked Katy. “Did you do it? It worked?”
Katy just now remembered the others and moved away from Seth’s arms, her face growing even redder, before nodding shyly. “I did, and it worked.”
The others also seemed excited and started bombarding her with questions one after another. In the beginning, Katy was still shy while answering them, but after a time, she seemed to gain a sense of pride and started even laughing about the king’s thing going flaccid at the mention of the Council.
The others looked quite regretful and ashamed at not having the courage to mention the Council and getting injured for nothing, but even more so, there was now a trace of respect as they looked at the silently cultivating Seth.
Once evening came, the girls went to prepare food before waiting to see who the king would pick, but no soldier came to bother them.
Excited, they thanked Katy and Seth before going to sleep with relief.
Deep into the night, Katy squeezed Seth’s arm and said: “Thank you. I didn’t get the chance to thank you yet.”
Seth sighed with a smile and moved to rub her hand at the same time: “No need to thank me. I’m glad you are fine.”
Katy nodded before suddenly asking, her cheeks reddening at the same time: “Sir, if you don’t mind me asking, could you tell me your name?”
Seth remained silent for a moment before bending down, bringing his mouth close to her ear. “People here know me as Otis, but my name is Seth.”
Katy blushed harder once she felt his warm breath on her ear and lifted herself to whisper back into his ear. “Then, should I address sir as Otis as well?”
Seth’s breathing became somewhat labored once he felt her body sticking to him and her warm breath tickling his ear, but he kept himself in check.
Katy moved her body back, resting her head on his shoulder before closing her eyes to sleep.
After Katy visited the king’s carriage, no other woman was summoned to warm his bed; even the soldiers noticed it. Talks started spreading between their ranks, with all sorts of rumors circulating, some even calling the king impotent, but the king didn’t address any of it.
The cheerful atmosphere also returned to the staff carriage, with the girls gossiping about random stuff all the time.
As they were approaching the border of the Wrath Kingdom, the carriage came to a small village, and the king had the entire convoy take a break at its periphery.
The soldiers didn’t understand why, but Seth and the women knew what he wanted to do.
As the king left to fulfill his needs with a small escort, the others went on a short visit around the village, only Seth and Katy remaining inside the staff carriage.
While Seth was cultivating silently as always, he felt a gaze on him and opened his eyes. Looking down, he found a red-faced Katy looking upwards toward him.
She had a dreamy look in her eyes as she just gazed silently at Seth’s face. Her lips were also parted slightly to allow her hard breaths to leave her lungs.
Noticing Seth open his eyes to look at her, Katy didn’t shy away from his gaze, her ample chest getting closer to Seth’s arm as she whispered.
“Seth, we’re alone.”
