Shocking that this wasn't a horror movie tbh

As it should! The effects were insane!

The design style for creatures in 80s fantasy films always creeped me out. Sometimes they scared me more than the designs for monsters in actual horror movies.

Funny story about this movie. I saw this movie when I was a kid and ... the part where Sonny Bono turns into a plant traumatized me. I saw it at my next door neighbor's house. I refused to eat snap peas for years afterword. I think I was 10. Also Etrayu from The Neverending Story!
