Over the past month, in the wake of Tekken 8 crashing and burning and pretty much my general disinterest in watching other competitive fighting games (I'm still holding out hope for Virtua Fighter 6 though), I've been feeling a void in my competitive gaming life and so decided to check back in with Brood War, which I haven't followed in over a decade at this point, to see how the game is doing, and discovered watching this season of ASL that modern Brood War is LEGIT. Where the rest of the world has moved on to other modern games, the Korean competitive scene is thriving and the meta game has become so interesting. Micro unit management and small battles are back my friends ha.
So this episode is basically just talking about my rekindled romance with Brood War and how much fun I am having watching ASL and firing up the game. I might actually attempt to get sort of decent at it with the specific purpose to go onto the ladder as Terran and kill people with Nuclear Launch builds, even though nukes are not that viable of a strategy in the legit metagame ha.
Thank you so much for supporting the channel everyone, this month has been a complete blur but I'm really happy with how the channel is going and next month is gonna be an awesome one too with Slam 7, Devil's 3rd, and maybe even some DMC1! We'll see it's always hard to know exactly what I'll be working on, but Slam 7 and Devil's 3rd are locked in of course.

Finally somebody gets it! Brood War is a one of a kind game and so much more fun to play and watch.

Screen Cheat is potentially a game in regards to the screensharing meta. I only played it once with friends a long time ago, so I don't really know if it was actually good or not, though lol
