I would love to know the names of the pieces you're playing here- and please don't feel "cringe" (horrible word and concept of our era 🙃) you should be so proud of your skill, I could listen to this all day!! Also, is that a new tattoo I see or am I just unobservant? Looks like someone carrying someone else of equal size, which has always been a very striking and emotive image to me. I think everyone has the inner strength deep inside of them to be able to carry the weight of someone in need, metaphorically I guess, even if just for a mile.

This was so beautiful, and ive always wished I could play like this. Felt very special to be able to witness as well. My favorite parts are when you're "la la la..." trying to find the note; immediately brought me back to watching my father sitting at the piano playing something beautiful when I was young, stuttering around the same part a few times before he got it right. It's the most beautiful and nostalgic instrument for me.

Ahhh yesss the handpan is so wonderful if you do start, the “Kurd” pans are the easiest when starting, and getting lost in the energy they give out when playing is such a experience, im not the best yet but still enough to fill that feeling when playing and thats all that matters, great community around the instrument too!

you are so right! they watched me since i was young going to school and then i left home at 18 and now every now and again they hear the piano and theyre like, oh yes, her. lol. and why is it too late to start piano? i know its daunting and life isnt t hat simple. i really wanted to start the drum's but i dont know, time!effort!

Nah, you did great! Better than anything I could have done for sure lol. Don’t forget that even Beethoven had to start somewhere. Absolutely no shame in having room for improvement :)

omg i was watching ludovico talk about someting similar to this in an interview just yesterday!!!! wonderfully said, i am feeling a bit em barssed at it now. it wasnt very good.

I love watching you play and just getting lost in the music, swaying with the rhythm. You're clearly very passionate about it! You accidentally referred to the musical notes as words but it's kind of accurate, with music being a language of its own that can express emotions even when you can't find the words or to people who don't even speak the same language as you. It was very beautiful, and the little mistakes just make it more raw and real. Besides, I think you sounded amazing <3 especially if you haven't played in so long! Also, I remember you posting on instagram with a drum kit before, was that yours as well? How many instruments do you know how to play? Just playing 1 instrument is very impressive to me :)

Thank you for sharing - the music and your thoughts. You make it seem like getting back in touch with an old friend and embracing after a long absence. I'm glad you could feel the piano again and not get caught up in imperfections. What does it matter to not be perfect? ... And it's nice to see the piano used for something other than a footrest during dinnertime.☺

I enjoyed this alot🦋 i almost got into piano as well back then, but life took me down a different path 😔 but none the less im glad you found some chill time to tap back into your musical heart piece youv been missing for a while🖤 and im Sure the neighbors were like “shes back” when they herd you😄 your just refreshing there ears nothing wrong with that lol i always like to think the piano is a pain instrument, throw your pain into those keys and they hit different , a beautiful sound really…im trying to learn the Handpan another beautiful and spiritual instrument you can flow and get lost in 🦋 😃

As if your fingers don't already bring enough beauty into the world! Thank you so much for sharing this, mistakes and all.  The music, the mistakes, your reactions, your frustrations, your memories, it all physically evokes YOUR personal relationship to the music in a way that a technically perfect performance couldn't. I can't play any instruments, so I've never got to experience this feeling of coming back to the keys after years and lovingly struggling with the music. Wow, thank you for letting us watch this. It inspires me to return to writing. (btw, I promise i sent that Instagram pic with the quote from that Allegro poem about playing the piano hours before watching this, but, HA!, what a coincidence :) Will you keep practicing?
