Development Update
🕑 Added 2020-06-18 12:38:26 +0000 UTCHey guys,
I hope everyone has had the chance to play version 0.8 now and that you all enjoyed the new content. As I’ve mentioned a few times now I’m planning a big update for version 0.9 taking the game into a new chapter. There will be a new main quest and I’ll be updating all the little patrolling-the-halls, classroom, sports and paperwork events. The new chapter will start immediately after the large classroom scene from version 0.6 where the headmaster starts to punish the girls himself. Below is my list of goals for the update in the rough priority order:
Goals for version 0.9:
- New main quest and continuation of the main storyline
- New patrol events
- New class events
- New weekend patrol events
- New sports coaching events
- New areas: Swimming pool, cafeteria
- Update all the conversations with the girls located around the school
- Initial punishment scene in your office and public punishments (but not the full punishment system yet) for: The twins, Priti, Liz, Alice and Faye
- Introduction of three new students (Zoe, Jasmine and Olivia)
- New public punishment
- New 'headmasters privilege' rule to unlock at the school board
- New dream sequence exploring the headmasters past.
- Second date with Samantha
- Raise Cassandra to level 5
- Raise Debbie and Amy to level 7
- New dance class scenes
If all this sounds like a lot, that’s because it is. It’s too early for me to even guess at how long this will take. My first task will be to very carefully plan out the new gameplay challenge for the main quest (based on Ruth's conditions for you spanking the girls) as well as all the side storylines for the new batch of girls to be sent to your office, then I’ll need to write out all the dialogue. Unfortunately, there is no way to rush this process and the more time I spend planning things out now the easier things will be for me in the long run. I’m going to have to spend at least the next month just writing and planning. Hopefully, after that, I should be in a position to give a rough estimate for the release date. I know it's tempting to ask me when the release is going to be but I’m going to have to ask for your patience with me until I’ve got everything figured out. I have quite a monumental task in front of me. It is daunting but also exciting, I’m very much looking forward to making this update.
I’ve had lots of people offer me help with various aspects of the game recently including the writing. I’m always happy for people to send me their ideas (although I obviously can’t promise to use them). What would really be helpful for me at the moment is if people have suggestions for short (four or five lines) repeatable scenes for the patrolling-the-halls, teaching class or coaching events. If you do then please let me know on the Discord. The more of these I make the more fun and varied the main gameplay challenge will be for the next update.
Before I get too far with the writing now is the perfect time to ask you guys some questions about the direction of the game and the potential for some more fetishes. I'm going to be holding a poll very soon for our $10 and up patrons with a list of multiple-choice questions ranging from the fun and trivial to the slightly more controversial.
I’ve also just set up a new channel on the Discord accessible to my $5 and up patrons (be sure to link your Patreon and Discord accounts in your Patreon settings). I’ve posted this development update there and I’ll be posting some images of the new UI and map I’ve been working on. Any game development issues like coding, UI and gameplay improvements can be discussed there going forward.

If you can't install the larger file try the smaller one. I think some phones don't like files over 2gb regardless of how much space you have on your phone. I'm going to release a new version on Monday for the public release which should fix this issue (as well as having a brand new UI I've been working on).
There a reason why I cant install it on my phone? I have enough space

I'm sure you have the storyline for Ruth well planned out but in my view from the current storyline there's possibly only 1 or 2 things that are going to get her to agree to greater powers for the MC; the death of previous headteacher. Convincing her that your goal is to get justice for him by pretending to be a PI or undercover cop who has been planted to get closer to the shareholders and bring them down. Her other motivation is of course to ensure the girls graduate. Persuading her that the students who are failing need tougher rules specifically, say the bottom 3 students and exposing them more easily to your methods, whilst highly objectionable to her you convince her this is the only way to get them in the top 1 percent could be an option. You could then doctor the results of those you want specifically to get your hands on who are currently not breaking the rules but are nonetheless problematic and make the case for greater powers to specifically target those girls. Debbie could be brought into that particular circle of trust and potentially Sally too. Claire might be a bit more problematic. I'd love to see Mr Wilson being used in the punishments but I get the impression that's not part of your vision. You have created an amazing concept here so I reckon you have something even better planned than what I can come up with. This game is amazing!!

Thanks for sharing more of the upcoming school year! I wonder if there is the chance for the headmaster to get a new ally. Perhaps one of the first young ladies 'taught' by the headmaster is now a teacher and productive member of their society. She applies for a job at the school and the headmaster sees an opportunity. Perhaps part of Ruth's conditions for allowing the headmaster additional punishment options with the girls is to can the male math teacher (he's So creepy... and a man). She has several applicants who (all carefully vetted by Ruth) could replace him. The headmaster interviews all the applicants and, having the final say, chooses the former student, now teacher, who will be a more ardent ally than the former math teacher.

An idea for a patrol the headmaster carrying out skirt inspections to make sure they are short enough.....

As much as I love the game my one worry is the scale of it, how you are able to pull off as much as you do I find amazing, please keep up the work that you are doing!!!!

It's a big list. Don't forget to allow completing the Sally one as well, otherwise, it becomes impossible to get the approval for the director doing things, even with the support at 11, and discipline and grades at 50, and Mrs Potts completed (unless I missed a version or something else), but for sure it will take you a long time to do everything you have in your list
It's got a good balance of both.

Be careful of making it too much like a VN, I have been concerned at times. But I still think you are heading in the right direction :)
