Greeting and explosions to you, my Bumblefriends!
It's the battle of the mad bombers: Bean the Dynamite vs Bomberman! Who will be victorious? Which bombastic battler has the best boom-booms?

Hi Ian! If Dr. Starline was given the opportunity or task to raise a chao how would he do it? Would he train the chao perfectly and make them have the highest level in each ability? Or would he be a negligent caretaker and ignore the chao while he works?

Staying on the topic of everyone's favorite last of his kind guardian of a large green rock, one of the artists of the sonic comic recently mentioned on their social media said that it was indicted by you that since most of the fandom viewed Knuckles as "black", that a human character based on Knuckles should be black. I've seen some fan theories floating around that Knuckles was based on Jamaican/Rastafarian culture, but the only evidence I've seen to support this is "he has dreads" and "his color scheme is the same as the Rastafarian flag". Given that everything else about Echidna culture seems to be based on south American culture, mainly Mayan, what's your take on that? Inb4 "he's red". This artist claimed it was you who said these things, so I was curious what you views were on x character being based on y ethnicity/culture/etc.

Recently been playing a cool racing game called Inertial Drift. It's got me thinking about Arcade Racers and how they are different from Kart racers.
If you were to lead decisions for a Sonic or SEGA racing game, would you stick with the recent Kart style, or shake it up with a more hardcore Arcade experience?
Does Riders fit more as Kart or Arcade?
Speed Weed
Shadow the Hedgehog, but you have the movement and physics of a modern-day Boomer Shooter, mixed with the philosophy of speed from the sonic games.
Think Dusk, ULTRAKILL (especially ULTRAKILL), or even just old classics like Quake when it comes to those Boomer Shooters; Would it be fun, and would it finally convince some people to let him use some firepower here and there?

Ian: Where did Eggman and Starline get their doctorates?
What is Starline's doctorate in?
Could Tails get one?
Are doctors just evil in this world?

Since we never saw the Piko hammer again after the arc, was the accidental upgrade Nagus gave to it in the Shattered arc going to be permanent?

What percentage of shadows DNA is black arms and What percentage is hedgehog Did sega directly say shadow dose not consider eggman a strong opponent or is that just a assumption your working off of.

It's to my understanding that Sega has clearly stated that characters that originate from the various Sonic cartoons cannot be touched for the IDW comics. Does that mean you can now share what you would have done with Cosmo and the Metarex for the comic? I'm dying to hear it!

I has question, been trying to wrap my head on how TSR fits in the IDWverse. The only thing that’s throwing me off is Zavok since he worked for Eggman (begrudgingly ofc) in the game but in the comics, he’s shown to want nothing to do with him. How dis fit oh wise King of the Bumbles?

It seem we're getting a plushie of Mephiles in his crystalline form. Does this mean that Sega might be open to having Sonic 06 exclusive content in media like the comic? Even though Mephiles is still officially considered dead, perhaps we can at least get a flashback image or something? Not sure how we can get a flashback to something that never happened, though, but I'm sure you can figure it out.

I'm curious, what's Starline's morning routine? Is he a morning person? What does he do once he wakes up?

I thought the free comic book day special was great! I love making stories and doodles, but I'm super nervous about sharing my interests and art with others, even under a pseodonym. Have you ever been nervous to share your interests or art with family, friends or outsiders?

Why is the bumbleking logo an alligator...or is it a crocodile? Seriously...it's been bugging me for a while now. What's the story behind the name? Are you just a big a fan of bees? If not, then what the heck is Bumble?

Ian, which female idol or band of the 90s, 2000s, or 2010s or genres of music in general would each of the girls of the Sonic cast be into?

Are you ever surprised how much background characters like Lanolin become popular with the fans?
Misty Kathrine (Kofi)
Can you get Jonathan Dobbs (AKA Ink Pants), to do a comic cover for Sonic? He's been doing fan covers and other Sonic fanart for awhile and it's all amazing and I'd like to see him do an official cover. Thanks.

Ian, will Sonic Team ever provide IDW Sonic with an official design of Amy's house since contents from Sonic X can't be referenced? Sonic Team provided IDW with the official design for Blaze's castle & Classic Amy's house was shown. So will the same happen for Modern Amy?
And if SEGA was to allow a 12-issue crossover arc b/w Classic & Modern Sonic, how do you & Evan Stanley envision Classic Amy's interactions w/Modern Amy, Modern Sonic & the others while teaming up w/Classic Sonic? What threat would the Hard Boiled Heavies & Metal series pose?

So got a question: Since Coconuts was in the genesis Classic Sonic games, would that mean that you can still use the SSS squad (scratch, grounder, and Coconuts) in the comics or no? I miss them.

In regards to SEGA not wanting to use materials and elements from the old Sonic TV shows...I do think it makes very much sense. As good as Satam for instance is, it's not a good representation of the Sonic franchise as it is now, with the characterizations, elements, designs, and so on. The show is good, but I totally get why SEGA isn't doing anything with it....however...There is something that I have been wondering. ...in regards to the debates, and campaigns regarding "Sally For IDW" and so on...what is stopping IDW and/or SEGA from creating their OWN version of Sally Acorn? One created to fit the IDW canon from the start? Like you just keep the name, core personality, and make her recognizable, but you change more or less everything else about her? New design, new backstory, new relation to Sonic, heck maybe she's not even a princess, ETC ETC. Basically a new incarnation that is created to fit within the current canon and also rid of any potential legal baggage. I mean, if SEGA can introduce game characters that originated from the old Sonic Manga, but any ties to the manga is removed...I really don't see why IDW couldn't make their own Sally. But what do you think?
syd (Ko-Fi)
this is both super important and also super trivial: at the end of issue #36 we see dr starline with a "live laugh love" mug. is this something he owns ironically or unironically?

Hey Ian, your run on Mega Man seems to always stick to the mind, man it was fantastic. I do have to ask, did you have any intentions of adapting Mega Man 7's American ending (the infamous "Die Wily!!" one), or the original Japanese where Rock stays silent over Wily's mocking plea that robots can't harm humans, just charging his buster to keep him at bay? Given how personal you made the Light family to Wily, the fact Wily has busted out of prison for MM7, desecrated Guts Man's deactivated body by modifying it into Guts Man G (leading to its eventual destruction at the hands of Mega Man), and several other games and storylines of angst between the two, do you think it may have been humored by Mega Man for even just a moment that he could choose to end this fued with a single buster shot? While dark, it also just sounds like something this kid would think of just briefly considering what more you added between them.

To Ian: Between Tangle, Whisper and Belle, what are your favourite aspects of each of the 3 girls? Also, do you also feel that they could work as a team together, or just Tangle and Whisper doing their own thing?
To Kyle: Have you listened to any soundtracks from the No More Heroes franchise, or any of Suda51's games? If yes, which is your favourite?
