PRIORITY Q&A
Scurvy Piratehog (KoFi)
If Modern Eggman, Boom Eggman, Jim Carrey's Robotnik and Satam Robotnik went into inter-dimensional war against each other...how would it go, and who would be victorious? Who would win "The War of the Eggmen"?
RedScarfUK
follow-up to Scurvy Piratehog:
So, now we know which Eggman/Robotnik would win (maybe), here's another one: Mama Robotnik vs Mombot, who would win?
Speed Weed
Alright this is another question that's that's pushed into the forefront of my brain: If Sonic had a hobbies, would it involve tagging Eggman monorails with rad, totally-not-Jet Set Radio-tier street art?
TerravancerYoh (KoFi)
During your entire career writing the Sonic Comics have you had any notable "Eureka" moments that you could speak of, along with any favorite call backs or ties of continuity that you were able to pull together?
Diane W.
What was the best Pokémon team you ever had from every last entry in the main series?
Digamma
Why is the (hopefully first) Tales of Aether miniseries about Clarien? Was it your idea or Dan's?
The Shadow Emperor (KoFi)
Ultra Serious Question: What would happen if someone pressed the Monkey Destruction Switch next to Monkey Khan? (If you don't remember what that is, it's a one-off item Knuckles uses to destroy a Kiki gatekeeper in SA1.)

Ever played the Mass Effect games? If not, play them. If so, what did you think? Favorite class? Favorite character? Favorite romantic pairing?
Hero of Light 13
Hey Ian, my question is a bit of a head-scratcher. Just how old is Sonic supposed to be these days? I know that since SA1 his official Sonic Channel bio lists him as 15 years old, tho technically you could argue that he’d be at least 16.5 by now with his birthday in Generations and the 6 month time skip in Forces. But in that very same game, Infinite calls out Eggman and straight up says that Sonic’s been defeating him “for DECADES.” Either this is just another mistranslation/localization issue and he was meant to say “years” or it suggests that Sonic is somewhere in his 20’s at least in order to be fighting Eggman for that long. To your knowledge, do you know if this is some attempt on SEGA’s part to “soft-retcon” Sonic and potentially other characters’ ages or is this just another case of looking too deeply into a throwaway line? Considering how Sega was looking for “a more mature-sounding Sonic” when they casted Roger, I wouldn’t be surprised if they wanted to age him up slightly, but what do you think?

To what extent do you stay away from fan material? Do you try to stay away from fan characters as well? What happens if you accidentally view something you’re not supposed to?
Scruffymatt
Fellas, I've gotta know. Who is the best robotic Sonic doppleganger that is not Metal Sonic? Metal Sonic obviously takes first prize, but I'm curious as to which one you think comes in second place?

what was the point in the Freedom Fighters getting their pre-reboot memories back if the memories were just going to fade over time?
Adam
There are a lot of moral dilemmas in the metal virus saga, where did you get the inspiration for them? did you, perhaps base them on real world events like the black plague or leper colonies?
Geo
How would it be like if Tangle, Whisper, Jewel, Starline, Rough, Tumble, Mimic, and Belle met Megaman cast and how would the IDW characters roles play out in Worlds Unite.
Aaron M.
Hey there again Ian an Kyle since im gonna be writing my own sonic fan comic series I was wondering do you guys have any writing tips for me or any tips at all?
DaddlerTheDalek
Just another silly little question. What would happen If Fastidious Beaver would visit the Nerb Kingdom? How would the Nerbs react? Why would the Beaver do that? Would it get very tedious?
Just-Some-Guy-Online
Do you think gadget the wolf could ever appear in IDW? (The red wolf from the forces trailers)
Smoogie Boogie
You’ve talked about Star Fox before so I figured I could ask this. Why specifically do you think there’s so much hatred for Slippy Toad? People complain about him needing saved, but every character needs Fox to save them. It’s a game mechanic. Is it his voice? I’ve personally not had a problem with it. I always found Falco more annoying because he asks to be saved AND THEN complains that he could’ve handled it. Anyway, maybe I just want to hear you talk about Star Fox more.

With Sally and Amy sharing what was left of Nicoles 'memories' from the Post-reboot world, did they get less memories than the rest of the freedom fighters to avoid the baggage of say, Sally remembering she had a brother, and Amy remembering her cousin and such?
