Kinktober 2022 #1: Costumes
🕑 Added 2022-09-14 03:04:15 +0000 UTCThis is a little different than my normal stuff. Less kinky, more just sweet and body-affirming. Curious to know what y'all think!

The degree of shame I felt when looking at the outfit my girlfriend bought me was incalculable. She’d told me she wanted to see me “show off” and for me to be the one to dress up in the bedroom. I hadn’t really understood what she meant. How was a man supposed to “dress up” in the bedroom? It wasn’t like they made sexy outfits for guys, especially not guys with a potbelly.
At least, that’s what I’d always thought. Turns out my girlfriend knew a whole lot more than I did about men’s lingerie, and she’d jumped at the chance to put me in the laciest, skimpiest thing she could find. It felt kinda rude of her, honestly. She couldn’t have just gotten me some fancy boxers and called it a day? She really wanted me to figure out how to put on a whole bra?
But I was a good boyfriend. So I went into the bathroom to put it on. The whole time, I could feel my face getting warmer and warmer. It seemed so embarrassing. She’d seen me naked plenty of times, but in the last couple years I’d turned into the type of guy who preferred the lights off and my shirt on during sex. I was almost forty pounds heavier than when we first got together and none of that was muscle. I wasn’t fit before, but I was thin. But then my girlfriend and I moved in together and I got comfortable. She didn’t seem to mind, but I definitely did. Sometimes I wondered if she’d even noticed how fat I’d gotten since she’d never mentioned it.
The little outfit fit perfectly, though, so it was clear she knew exactly what size I was. I took a look at myself in the mirror. And… I didn’t completely hate what I saw. Maybe it was the color, or knowing how excited my girlfriend was to see me in it. I took a deep breath and stepped out of the bathroom and into the bedroom, steeling myself. My girlfriend was sitting on the edge of the bed waiting patiently.
A little part of me was kind of expecting her to change her mind. Like she’d see me and suddenly realize she wished she could’ve gone on ignoring how big I was. But the look on her face when she saw me? I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone look so delighted. Even though I still couldn’t believe what she’d convinced me to wear, I couldn’t help but smile at her.
She reached out with grabby hands, like she couldn’t wait for me to close the gap between us. “Oh my god you look so handsome!” she squeaked. “I didn’t think you’d ever put something like that on for me. I like how much it shows you off.”
Then she leaned forward and kissed my belly. I felt myself melt a little at her touch as her hands roved over my skin, even as my cheeks grew hot with shame. She looked up at me. “Is this okay?” she asked. I nodded.
“Good. I missed seeing you.” She shifted back onto the bed, pulling me with her. She gave the softest part of my stomach a squeeze. “All of you.”

That's really good feedback! I mostly called it a "bra" in this context because it seemed like this character wouldn't know what a bralette was. but I can definitely see how that wouldn't come across.

Super cute story! Nice & short! Might have preferred more description of his body, especially since he needs a bra but I loved the girlfriend's enthusiasm
