I just think he is afraid, people do misguided stuff when they are too afraid to consider anything else. I find him frustrating but I also don't gain the impression he is doing what he is doing for the sake of it. I found the comment on ignorance and being a Crown near tragic when he is too busy hiding the truth from Crowny to help them understand what is happening. Really wanted a more confident Crowny to throw that back at him to spell out the hypocrisy of that statement. He is too blind to Crowny to get it but it should be said. I don't hate him though. Man is just the living embodiment of the color beige, he can't help his fear. heh
