Underwater Swimming Gear
🕑 Added 2020-04-27 14:00:03 +0000 UTCHappy Monday! How was your weekend underwater family? I have a question for you. What underwater swimming gear do you use (if any) and why?

I use snorkeling gear in the ocean! Snorkeling is so much fun because you actually can stay underwater as long as you like. If you can hold your breath (and you can, for sure!) then you can even take a short dive a bit deeper. I would recommend the classical mask + snorkel set, NOT those new full face masks which can make you feel claustrophobic and can be dangerous (CO2 buildup). It is important to have a mask that fits, and a snorkel with a purge valve to get the water out. If you still have issues with swallowing water, then try a so called "Dry Snorkel". It has a valve that closes on the top when you dive deeper. You can't breathe then, you have to hold your breath, but you won't get water in. Leave comment if you would like to know more, or some recommendations :-)
