16 Facts about TANAKA KARASU ✨
🕑 Added 2022-11-22 20:11:21 +0000 UTCHey guys, since we will be diving deeper into the plot, we haven't spoken much about Shoto's siblings. Here are a few facts that will be valuable to understanding Karasu's character. [These are non-spoilers]
1. Karasu is the most "forgiving" of his siblings and strives to maintain harmony among everyone. His demeanor is comparable to that of Hiro in his adolescence and to Sakura's kind and gentle nature.
2. He was sickly and weaker as a child and required more attention and care than his other siblings. As a result of this, Sakura had a soft spot for him among all the children, including Shoto.
3. He is less verbal and likes to express himself through music. Due to his "listening" disposition, he gets along with Hiro better than with his other siblings. He likes to avoid problems with his family and overlook most things.
4. In addition, he is a lieutenant in the "Explosive Division," alongside Satsujin. He was stationed there primarily by Hiro to monitor Satsujin. Karasu ought to have had his own division dedicated only to "slient" operations and assassinations. However, he prefers to work alone when he has assignments within that field and doesn't like to control others.
5. He hates being held responsible for Satsujin's actions, and this is when he usually becomes defensive since they are both adults with their own lives.
6. Apart from Eiko, Hiro has a soft spot for Karasu and generally allows him to accompany him to meetings that the other siblings are not permitted to attend. Despite the fact that Yasei-ji is his right-hand man, he primarily talks to Karasu about his personal problems. Due to his attentive and kind nature, Karasu reminds Hiro of Sakura. Karasu's face is also generally always covered, which means it's easier to look at his eyes when Hiro is speaking to him, and he was gifted with Sakura's eyes as well.
7. Hiro didn't expect much from him, especially given how sensitive Sakura was about Karasu. He is the only brother who has received Hiro's "soft parenting." Karasu was therefore spared from fighting his siblings after two mishaps, and Hiro mostly concentrated his training on assassinations and one-on-one combat.
8. Turtle is the reason he wears a mask, which has additional implications. This caused Sakura to feel contempt for Shoto for a while, which Karasu was aware of, but he did not blame Shoto.
9. He loves Shoto and wishes he would return to the family, despite the fact that he knows this is unrealistic. He still hopes for it.
10. Karasu is the only one who acknowledges that his family is suffering from a mental health crisis, despite the fact that no one else speaks about it or ignores it. He is fully aware of the situation. He also realizes how great an impact it has on his father.
11. The only thing that helps him regulate his emotions is music. He is the most stable of his siblings.
12. He is so close to Satsujin that he would consider him his best friend. He hates the fact that he uses narcotics, but he understands why he does so. When Hiro forced Satsujin to perform drug tests, he would urinate in cups for him so he wouldn't get in trouble.
13. Satsujin is the only person outside Sakura who has caused him intense emotional distress, and it is due to his drug use. Even though he never tells him, he constantly sings and writes about it. He recognizes that music is like his own addiction and sympathizes with Satsujin.
14. Hiro allowed him to quit school and pursue music at an early age. He is also the only sibling who is not as heavily involved in the yakuza. His music career and family are both very important to him since he is very famous in Japan and across the world. Additionally, he operates a well-known music business in Shibuya and other areas. He is the lead guitarist and lead vocalist for the well-known rock band Death Rockz.
15. Even though he misses Sakura terribly, he focuses on other elements of his life in order to avoid dwelling on her.
16. His greatest fear is that Hiro or one of his siblings might die as a result of their lifestyle, although he tries not to focus on it. Some part of him is happy that Shoto isn't part of the syndicate anymore.

my angel, it's okay, you have every right to exercise your opinion, so the day that hiro abused shoto it all started because sakura was blessed so she was to blame for that because she knew hiro would be pissed and took it out on shoto they are her as a mother he should have drank remember that the next day he went to school and told hideki that it was his fault for leaving his mother baby like that and a child's fault and another shoto didn't take food to school because she didn't make his lunch box he accidentally broke a plate hiro went there and broke his arm it seems like everything that happened in the house was like it was guilt so how can you blame a child for his own mother getting drunk sakura had a shitty life but when she did marries hiro she already knew where he came from she nobody an innocent child he many children but not one of them had a shitty life like shoto had he threw too many responsibilities on a child where he had to help around the house take care of his mother and even help raise his brothers if sakura's life was shit it wasn't shoto's fault he didn't ask to have an abusive father or see his mother get beaten up he was just a child who unfortunately had to take responsibility for your mother and her actions

Sorry, but I don't see how I am being biased for looking at this from a realistic perspective and putting myself in Sakura's shoes, how do you yall expect a woman who is disabled and most times pregnant to defend herself and her kids all the time against Hiro? You can't compare other people's situations to someone who is in an entirely different situation. Hiro isn't some regular man and I think that's what is being missed from this entire discussion. This man can legit kill this woman and then what happens then? I'm sure sakura has done her fair share to protect her kids but I really don't like the blame game being used here against a woman who is also a victim of domestic violence. It's so irrational and unrealistic to look at this 5'3 disabled woman, whos legit physically unable to fight against someone who is around 6'3 and also abuses her as well. I'm sure she is always suffering from the mental aspects of that abuse just like everyone else. Sure, let's see how it works out plot-wise.

I feel like that’s a biased opinion as well. I feel like wether you want to defend someone or not depends on the person. She clearly fought against Hiro before. But I’ve met people in similar situations and they fight tooth and nail for their kids. Drugged, high or whatever. They won’t let their kids be physically harmed without them being harmed as well. (Instead of their kids if they could) I feel like that depends on the person. So in my opinion Sakura wasn’t that good of a parent to Shoto. At times I will say she did try. But other times she was very reckless with all her children. But I’m interested to see how this plays out later in the plot.

Wow 🤩 So by far he’s my favorite sibling so far not just for despite his love for music but for him wearing a mask it something I can relate to for the same reasons. But I really want to read about two people facts which are Hideki and Hebi’s🥰🥰🥰

I'm not defending her or Hiro but I dont think its okay to blame her for not being able to defend her children, not everyone is as strong to fight against domestic abuse . And again, this is a man who has a lot of power and control. We dont know why she was actually mad at shoto about what he did, but yeah.

While i get that this is your opinion , it is coming from bias position, Yes, your mother was able to defend you and her kids from her abusive husband. I sympathize with your family. But, Sakura's situation is very very different [yes, I am aware this is fiction but people go thru this everyday]. Sakura is married to a Yakuza boss , and they are from a different culture. They have different 'norms' as they are gang members . And again, this is a woman who was always pregnant and from the looks of it, I assume she also got injured cause she was using a cane in one chapter but it seems she started using a cane for a while now because Shoto got bullied for it.

and yes i agree with you because everyone knows what i pass hiro is a monster that doesn't mean i blame her for having a shitty husband but i don't think she should have been angry about what the turtle did to karasu because if shoto is a monster and why did her husband make him look like that but i love the character sakura and i'm sad to see all this happening to a woman that i only try to give love to a son of a bitch who abuses her and her son

My angel, this is my opinion, but I speak from experience because I saw my mother being abused and beaten by my father almost every single day when my older sister, aunt, is 15 years old, he tries to abuse her, but my mother never lets my father lay a finger on her. If my mother is 1.56 tall and my father was 1.94, it is not a reason to stop defending your children, thank you very much for your opinion.

I don't think she was a bad mother to Shoto. Mind you, she was also being abused as well. And at the time when he raped shoto, she was literally drunk. I think anyone dating a man like Hiro would also lose their mind. Sakura was also always pregnant, so I DOUBT she could actually defend against Hiro , he's frickin huge and also unpredictable lool

I know that many will criticize me, but for me, Sakura wasn't a good mother to Shoto, where he saw her husband rape and beat up his own son.
