Arc 9 Poll
🕑 Added 2025-03-08 22:13:22 +0000 UTCSo we have lost, a lot of people over the last couple of weeks. We're at an all time low for the last like 6 to 8 months.
The question has come up and been talked about in my groups and I've come to the conclusion that at this point it is highly unlikely this big a drop is just because we're not in Konoha right now.
So, for those that want to give Indepth feedback, here's a google poll.

There'll be an optional essay form for feedback at the end, but mostly just answer as you've perceived things. It doesn't actually matter if you can deduce the obvious answer I intended, I just want to know what you thought/saw in the moment. If you had any strange thoughts otherwise, that's what the end long form answer box is for.

For everyone else, I need to know if you'd rather I take a couple to a few weeks to look over Arc 9, take feedback, and maybe make some changes to make it feel much better.
Or if you'd rather I just move on to the next part of the story, where the other MCs will get some screentime and fun vibes can be shared. Ultimately, while I do write for myself, I do want you to enjoy it too. If I messed up a scene or two, gave a weird impression, or otherwise failed to execute what I was trying to, I want to know.
Do be aware that if I did fix up Arc 9, the core events would still be here.
The explosion still happens, a game is still called in an effort to drum up the magical energies needed to resurrect a lot of the dead, the two factions Sakura has to try and navigate and understand still exist. It'd purely be to fix up scenes that didn't do as intended or were low quality and felt bad.

She'll be back eventually, that's for sure. Just not right now. Though to be clear, setting wise nothing really changes? Most of it's about people, and she'll get most of her people back soon. (Not even a spoiler it's just obvious) Not much I can do about that issue except forget my own intentions and plans to please people and that's just not happening.

I'll be honest, I enjoyed watching Sakura in Naruto, and want to see that again.

Well, to me, your opinion counts as like 5 people so I'll take that into consideration for final decisions. You're my longest patron, and it can be said with real weight that if you weren't here in the beginning it probably would have died.

Personally, I loved this Arc. It was fun, and I even have a ton of plans for extra scenes I want to add in when I do the public edits. Just a lot of missing moments I wasn't able to capture. If nothing else if I do spend a couple weeks fixing stuff up, it'd give me time to do that. This is actually a pretty good natured Arc, I don't have any nefarious purposes and while there is this vibe of 'it hangs in the balance' it's not seriously meant to convince anyone that their favorite characters are permanently out of the picture. But with $50+ lost, which after Patreon's cut is like 12 to 13 people... I do have to wonder if as the writer I just missed something obvious and problematic.
