Thoughts moving forward here

Technically there's been other stuff before that but the active efforts, six months.
And I always thought I'd have figured out exactly how to do it by the time I arrived.
Here's the thing, I'm a great writer, but I'm not perfect. We've made it to the point where I now have to do the thing.
And look, I love the thing.
But I'm also just good enough to know that I'm not skilled enough to 100% guarantee I'm gonna pull this off. There's a chance this arc ends up a bit of a slog to get through, and there's a chance it's one of the best arcs in the entire story.
And the reality is that which it is, is entirely up to my execution.
I'm anxious because I want to give everyone the best experience I can.
I foresee myself making mistakes, learning, and doing my best, and hopefully giving everyone an incredible experience. But uh, it might be rough, warning you now.
Anyway, I thank you for your support, and ask for patience while I do something very hard and do my best.
In the event I fuck everything up... well there's always Arc 10!

My major thought here is that I have a responsibility to be open and honest with my supporters. I have doubts about my ability to execute the plans I have in a satisfying way. I do not want people who give me financial support to be blindsided about something even I am not sure of. I have no intentions of not doing the thing, and if everyone left this story would merely return to one small update a week until completion.

Also, there's no need to be anxious. At the end of the day, YOU ARE THE WRITER. Regardless of other people's opinions, you should still finish it the way you want.

Whether this arc is good or not, I'm not dropping this story. This is one of, if not the most creative Sakura fanfics I've ever read. I can tell you put a lot of work and thought into it from the character's choices to the mechanics. Take the risk. Those who drop it after one maybe bad arc clearly didn't care for it enough. :-)

Yeah, I think the best thing I can do for my supporters in good faith is to take chances in the effort of showing them something amazing. This story is about growth, both for Sakura and for me. If I don't do the hard thing, I'm spitting on us both. Doesn't make me less anxious though when I look at a gambit and go "I might not be good enough to pull this off."
