The Continuing Process

Just let me know if things are not as they should be.I stopped doing release countdowns years ago, since the numbers day-to-day don't reflect what's going on very well, but we did start this month with over200 items, and we're down to 82 now. So the project is going smoothly, and the wait won't be forever. A few of the items on the list are still pretty crunchy, like making clothing for non-dwarf long-term visitors/new citizens in your workshops, but I don't expect any major surprises or additions now. After the list is done, we'll have a bit of release-mode testing, where strange crashes sometimes come up, but that'll be it.

Yep, I'm happy to be a pledger, and have never needed a reward short of being able to play the game. That said, I would REALLY encourage you to take another swing at multi-core support, or to consult with a programmer specializing in distributed computing. I'd be setting up multi-CPU server rigs to play DF if I could, lol.

More control over what nonmilitary dwarves wear seems like it goes against the spirit of the game. Shouldn't they choose their own clothing based upon their preferences?
Any chance we will see settable civilian uniforms or a fix for the miner/woodcutter uniform bugs since you are working on the non dwarf citizens clothing code anyway? Anyway well done on the progress regardless, I can't wait to play the new release, super exciting!
