April 2022 Progress Report

Time for this month’s progress report! Today I’ll be showing off mostly screenshots of Ramon’s completed route!
I also updated the logo to be more professional looking

Updating the logo means I have just a bunch of outdated holo stickers… oh well I was tossing them as freebies for Repurpose merch orders anyway.
Also to make sprite placement easier on myself I made these sprite sheets that show what number I have each character file saved under
A few of Ramon’s sprites on the sheet are censored for spoiler reasons obviously or would have a greater impact when seen in-game. As you can see most characters, not even main, exceed to having above 40+ sprites but i made the limit 45 just in case I went that crazy.
Ramons route took me a few weeks to do since I hard corded it myself while the automation was being done. But now that it is I should be able to work on routes twice as fast! Who knows maybe I’ll make the original June deadline! At the very least I’ll have the main 6 done before Summer ends since their routes writing and art (all together) are 95% done.

My plans for next month are to:
- Reprogram the prologue into the game
- Program the game menus since right now they’re a mess
- Have backers/ patreons play test Ramon’s route once the first two are done.
- (Bonus?)Program Kalei or Mitts into the game

That’s about it for this month! I have very high hopes for next month and am excited to finally being able to see the came come into fruition. I’ll see if I can get Ramon’s route playable within the next 2 weeks.
