Hello again!
November…. Big clusterfuck in terms of world news, especially if you’re in the US as most of the Cereus Garden staff are and for a lot of us, it took a toll on our mental/physical healths.
Still, some work was accomplished this month and Eros is here to report on it for our wonderful supporters!
Today I’ll be going over:

Physical Rewards
Physical rewards have all been shipped! Everyone should have received a tracking number in the email from backerkit and can refer to that on their packages status. If there's any issue or heavily damaged products received please do message me on KS so I can try to make it better!
I still need to re-mail peoples rewards that were damaged or returned to me, I apologize for the delay November has really hit my mental health pretty gnarly with having only just finished mailed out 200+ packages by myself this month, on top of my other tasks, and November just being November it's been tiresome. Still, I want to do good by you all so hopefully next month I’ll have that all sorted and one with!
If you would like to buy any of the physical items from the KS they will be up for sale on Etsy! Currently, there are a few plans for more merch but they will be held off till the game is actually complete. Backers will be given a discount coupon because y’all believe in the project before (if) it gets popular/well recognized.
Art
Lots of new sprites! Each important/romanceable character has at least 3 unique sprite bases with a maximum of 5 (subject to change). The original main 6 love interests sprites are almost complete! I just need the few uncolored Ramon/Noel ones from the last one to get finalized before moving on to the other 3 (technically 5 since Cheri has 3 alternate forms) which I should be able to start on next month. As shown in prior updates I did get a head start on Faye’s so I’ll mostly be working on the other two starting with Irene.
….Ah, you may have noticed some rather interesting sprite variants with these screenshots? Well, I’ll just leave that up to speculation for now since I don’t want to quite reveal story elements quite yet. Maybe some other time~
For now, here's a look at what Hell will look like!
Our background artist, TJ, is just doing a SPECTACULAR JOB crafting what Hell looks like and I’m grateful he’s on the team since if it were me doing the backgrounds I couldn't imagine achieving this level of stylish beauty~
Game Development
We will be moving engines from renpy to either gamemaker 2 or unreal engine. Our programmers have expressed that with the additional mini games to be implemented gamemaker 2 would be the favorable option so after some prototyping in December we’ll have a definitive engine picked out to rebuild the demo and the full game.
Voice actors
While we didn’t hold proper auditions for this, we selected two people from the prior pools of auditions to play Cheri’s Male and Androgynous forms!
