Title: Summer Vacation Starts...
….
As I step out of the train I remember that I didn't really write to my family almost none at all. Well, it is a waste of time, so I always pushed at the back of my mind. I had way more important things to do back then, well I can just use Obliviate on them and then I 'did' write them every week. I just change their memories to my liking.
Honestly, I don't hate my new family. I would actually be sad if they died. But I don't exactly love them extremely much to give my life for them or anything like that. At the same time, I spent years with them and they have treated me nicely. So I am fond of them in that aspect at least.
Still, as I step off the train, I see that my sisters and mother seem glad to see me. Dad seems kinda in a mood, I use Legilimency wandlesly. Due to the long-range, it is a little difficult, but since dad is just a normal guy I can easily read what he is thinking.
It seems like my sisters and mom annoyed the sh*t out of him when I didn't write home.
Well, that can be fixed as I smile at my mother and sisters.
"Mom, Jesica, Sera… and dad. Good to see you all. I must tell you just how hectic this year." I use a subtle wandless compulsion charm on all of them. Immediately my mother notices that something is wrong so I have to use my wand from under my sleeve to cast a stronger compulsion. This one does the trick immediately as my family usher me towards the exit of the platform and then we go to our car.
As soon as we do so I take out my and rapidly cast four {Stupefy} charms and put all of the family members under a paralysis state. The first I go to modify the memories of is my mother. I just made her think that my writing home was about once a week and I used the family owl. I did the same with my sisters and father too. After that whole ordeal, I let them move, and as if nothing's happened.
Immediately my father's face morphs into a smile as he says. "Hope your report card has good grades in it because you wrote way too much."
"Honey, don't say that. What if when he finds a girl and then he really doesn't write." Says mom as she fakes her annoyance at what dad said.
My older sister, who is seven years older than me. I am currently twelve as of January and soon she too will become nineteen. Seven years older, so she puts an arm around me and asks. "So, little bro, how was school? Tell me did you find any girl that you like now?"
I have a calm look on my face as I answer her by saying. "No, I don't Sera. Stop asking such stupid questions."
Jessica smiles a little at this and smiles as she starts tickling me. "I bet he likes a girl that he isn't telling us about."
Mom smiles as she sees me and my siblings act like this in the backseat. Thankfully, I have already removed the trace in my want and it doesn't show at all when I use a spell. It was one of the first things I researched. It honestly isn't that hard really, there were over dozens of ways to do so.
….
One week later with family and I rested enough for now. My book will be coming out soon. It probably won't make a lot of money, but it should make enough money for me to buy the things that I want.
I am currently in the kitchen just lying down on the couch and one of my sisters, the older one (Sera) just kept bugging me. "Hey~ show me some magic trick… its boring as hell in here."
"I will show you potions if you want and nothing else." I tell her. "You know that Hogwarts students can't use magic when outside of bounds."
She pouts at that. "C'mon~ it's been so boring as of recently. You use less magic now that you learn from a school than you did before."
"Because now it's illegal…" I say that as I change the channels on the TV trying to find some half-decent program at least.
In the end, Sera just sighs as this and looks at the TV trying to see if I find anything interesting. Which I am not, the seventies suck…
There is some news on the American front about Jimmy Carter or something like that. Which I don't care, presidential debates were way more entertaining during 2020. At least for the east side of the world.
….
Two weeks later and news comes about that my book has done pretty well and I now have a couple of hundred Galleons to spend around. Honestly, it was better than expected for only a couple of weeks of being published.
I look at the flask of Polyjuice and drink it. Immediately as I do so, I can feel my body changing and morphing itself. Thankfully I am currently in a public bathroom as I do this.
My clothes readjust themselves as I am transformed into a random muggle man that walked down the street. Just grabbed a piece of hair by using a charm to do so.
I am currently wearing my wizard robes, but they are transfigured to look like a normal suit. When I enter the Wizarding World, I will simply undo the transmutation.
….
I use the Knight Bus to travel to Diagon Alley. The journey with the bus was... a little bit disorienting. But I managed it somehow as I can hear and see the noises and sights of diagon alley with countless people around.
I just walk through the crowd casually and without being noticed. I already have a notice-me-not charm on my clothes.
As I walk along Knockturn Alley, I have a fedora on my head, together with my dark wizard robes it makes me look sketchy as heck. Perfectly making me seem in my natural habitat on Knockturn Alley.
I can feel a chilling wind pass through the alley and I have my wand in my hand as I walk towards Borgin's and Burke's.
As I do so I immediately notice that this place is too dimly lot and a lot of scary sh*t seems to be around here.
At the counter I can barely see a stooping man with oily hair. He looks at me and has a creepy smile on his face. "Welcome to Borgin and Burkes… I am Borgin, what can I get for you?"
I look at him and ask. "Hello there Borgin, my name is Heisenberg. I am a german magician and currently, I am planning to move to Britain… also I heard from some of my friends about you. Today I only wanted to buy some books for my nephew, he is starting Hogwarts soon."
Borgin smiles at this. "Well… we do have books of those varieties too. Books that can make a child shine brighter than any of his peers."
I nod at that and see that Borgin goes to the back of the shop. I didn't try anything funny, I am currently inside his shop. So I don't try compulsion or any spell in here really.
In the end, Borgin comes with a stack of books with different titles like 'Curses For The Strong' and such other books are in there.
Let's see now… which one should I get? As I contemplate that, I see one book which explicitly demands my attention.
Well… isn't that quite the nice find…
