Agreed! Airports have certain protocol standards they have to meet. Admittedly, airport acoustics and design are subjects I don't know much about.
Happy to wait. I always look forward to your posts. Regarding the On Sound piece, what do you make of the unpleasant noise at the airport? I'm not talking about the planes, but the incessant announcements in the terminal? It can be overwhelming - "the TSA blah blah blah." the "would so and so return to security to retrieve a forgotten item," and especially "Flight 4026 to Wichita is closing in one minute and all passengers should be at gate C14" when you are in terminal A? By the time you board the plan no wonder no one listens to the safety announcement about posted placards. Sorry, end of rant, but airports are especially annoying.
