I think it's a reference to 30 St. Mary Axe in London, commonly called "The Gherkin" which is British for a type of pickle. It's had other, less family-friendly names. I love cubism as much as the next person, and house #3 (Cascading Nope) is a rare specimen of cubism in the wild. It had my vote, until I saw Mount Nub (#5). And then I knew existential fear. How many ex-wives do you think Mr Rochester has stuffed up in that attic?
Can someone explain what "y gerkin??" means? It's near the top center of House #4.
