After being bound and gagged inside the dusty old storage room, Sam struggled with every ounce of strength she had. She twisted, pulled, and strained against the ropes that dug into her wrists and ankles. Her hands were scraped and burning from the friction, but the knots were far too tight for her to slip free.
Then—footsteps.
Soft, deliberate, echoing through the dimness.
From the shadows emerged her captor.
And behind him… stood Mandy — the leader of the group.
Mandy’s presence filled the room like a chill. She looked down at Sam with a cold, superior smile, her eyes gleaming with amusement.
> “Trying so hard… how adorable of you, Sam~”
Mandy stepped closer, slow and confident, the sound of her boots tapping lightly against the concrete floor. In her hand, she held a small cloth soaked in a faintly sweet chemical scent — chloroform.
She pressed it lightly toward Sam’s face, making Sam’s head tilt back weakly as her body trembled from the drug’s lingering effect.
> “Did you really think you could escape from us? Hahaha~”
Sam met her eyes defiantly, refusing to let fear show. Her mind raced, analyzing every angle of the room — every box, every possible exit. But every path was blocked by crates, debris, and darkness.
Mandy leaned closer, her gloved fingers tracing the rope that bound Sam’s wrists.
The gesture was deliberate — cold, calculated — and it made Sam’s muscles tense with discomfort.
Still, Sam didn’t stop fighting. Despite the pain, despite the fear, she kept testing the ropes, trying to find a weakness. But she knew, deep down, that escape was impossible right now. Mandy held all the control — and she was enjoying every second of it.
Mandy’s quiet, mocking laughter echoed off the walls, a haunting sound that filled the entire room. The air grew heavier, the sense of despair sharper.
Sam realized it wasn’t just her body being restrained — it was her mind being pushed to the edge of endurance.
Even bound and weakened, Sam’s eyes stayed fierce. She was waiting — watching — for the moment when her chance would come.
But for now, she had to endure Mandy’s taunts and the cruel confidence of the woman standing over her.
Meanwhile, back at WOOHP headquarters — the team had already discovered that Sam had been captured.
They were analyzing the situation and preparing for immediate backup.
Clover was being deployed to join the mission — to locate Sam and bring her home.
