Mami Nanami was dragged from the beach into the nearby storage room by the sea. The building was a small wooden structure, old and worn, with a tiny window that offered a partial view of the ocean waves and sunlight filtering in. The scent of sea salt mingled with the smell of aged wood, adding to the tense atmosphere.
She was forced to sit on a wooden chair in the center of the room, her hands and ankles tightly bound with nylon ropes that bit into her skin with every movement. Her mouth was sealed with silver tape, making her cries nearly inaudible.
Sunlight slipped through the small window, casting light on her skin, highlighting the creases of the ropes and the harsh edges of the tape. Mami tried to calm herself; although her body was restrained, her mind raced to find a way to escape. She scanned the room and saw stacks of old wooden crates in the corners. The cramped space limited her movements, making her feel even more suffocated and pressured.
The security camera in the corner of the room was broken, leaving no one to witness what was happening. Mami tried to remain as still as possible, careful not to reveal her intentions to the captor. She began memorizing the positions of the ropes and the layout of the room, hoping that one day she would find a chance to break free.
