By evening, the photoshoot had finally come to an end. The last golden rays of sunlight streamed through the window, casting warm patterns of light and shadow across the room — the silhouette of Marin sitting on the sofa and the faint outline of the camera stand beside her.
Marin sat gracefully on the sofa, her hands and ankles still wrapped in the soft fashion rope. Though she could now move them freely, she stayed still for a moment, letting out a few playful “oo-ee” sounds — a mix of exhaustion and satisfaction.
Gojo placed the camera down on the table and took a deep breath, his eyes filled with admiration as he looked at her. “All done… You did really well today,” he said softly.
Marin nodded, her lips forming a small smile beneath the cloth that still covered them. She moved her hands slightly, a gesture of thanks and quiet joy. Gojo smiled back and stepped closer, his movements careful and gentle as he began untying the ropes one by one. The sound of the rope sliding free echoed softly in the calm evening air.
As each loop loosened, Marin flexed her fingers and ankles slowly, breathing deeply as the feeling of freedom returned. She leaned back against the sofa with a sigh of relief, tilting her head back slightly, the soft “oo-ee” escaping her again — this time sounding content, almost teasing.
Gojo knelt in front of her and gently removed the cloth from her mouth. “All set, Marin-san,” he said, smiling warmly.
Marin turned toward him, her violet eyes glimmering with amusement. She gave him a small wave and a playful glance, silently thanking him. Both of them chuckled quietly. The room was peaceful, filled only with the fading light of dusk — but the lingering warmth of laughter, embarrassment, and closeness still hung in the air, making the moment feel almost magical.
Gojo sat down beside her, unsure what to say, but Marin’s bright, genuine smile said everything. She tilted her head, her tone turning mischievous. “Eh… I want to keep shooting, Gojo-kun~ I want to try some new poses~”
Gojo blinked in surprise, his cheeks instantly turning red. “N-new poses?” he stammered. Marin just grinned wider, clearly enjoying his reaction.
Though flustered, Gojo nodded shyly and picked up the camera again, trying to steady his hands. His heart was pounding, but he couldn’t help but smile too. Marin shifted slightly, adjusting her pose as Gojo guided her — their movements slow and in sync, as though the air itself had softened around them.
Her expression was playful, her eyes bright yet shy. “Okay… this pose is great, Gojo-kun~” she said in an encouraging tone.
Gojo inhaled deeply and focused through the camera lens. “Yes… This is perfect, Marin-san~”
The soft sound of the shutter filled the room, blending with their laughter. The photoshoot continued in a gentle rhythm — part fun, part fluster, part connection. As the last light of day faded into night, what remained between them wasn’t just a set of photos, but a quiet, unspoken warmth — the kind that lingered long after the camera stopped clicking.
