Chapter 70: The Bloodstained Claws of a Beast
🕑 Added 2021-09-11 22:33:39 +0000 UTC"Prejudice is a big mountain, I can't breathe under its pressure." Andre sighed.
"Stop talking nonsense! Where's Sister Nefiro?"
"She should be in the slum at this time."
"Where is this slum?"
"It's the place where the poor stay. Don't just look at the prosperity of this city, but no matter how prosperous it is, there will always be some particularly dirty and poor places. The slums are such a place. Most of the poor and homeless people live there. It’s a chaotic and dangerous place. It hides the sinful side of the city."
"The sinful side?" Arman’s eyes lit up upon hearing this "That's great! That’s the place for us to fight crime! Where are the slums? Take me there!"
"..." Andre looked at Shillong silently.
He knew that among the two brothers, Shillong is the one who calls the shots.
Shillong nodded.
He also wanted to meet big sister Nefiro.
Seeing this, Andre immediately ordered the coachman to go to the slums.
Upon receiving the order, the coachman immediately turned around at a nearby corner. It was about midnight. There were only a few street lights on the street, and there were basically no pedestrians.
The carriage moved very quickly.
It soon reached the boundary close to the slum area.
On the side of the road, three people wearing full-body cloaks were walking. As the carriage passed by their side, the three people walking on the avenue suddenly stiffened. They felt an extremely terrifying beast aura
No! It wasn’t exactly the aura of beasts, but the aura of dragons!
The aura was monstrously strong!
An aura of such a level can be only created when 3 dragons or more are converged!
The three cloaked men turned around. On the dark road with no street lights, three pairs of black eyes exuded a different kind of light, staring at the carriage that was getting farther and farther.
"There are more than three dragons in that carriage!" one of the cloaked men said, his voice was very rough and full of disgusting breath.
"This is the best gift for my lord!" said another.
"I really want to drink their blood! Eat their meat~" Another man in the cloak swallowed.
"What do you think? Should we directly act? I can't wait anymore!" said the second man.
"Idiot! Do you want to die?"
The rough man who spoke first cursed, "That's a dragon! It's not an ordinary beast! Do you think that only three of us can beat three dragons? Have you eaten so many pig brains recently that your brain turned into one?!"
"This... What should we do then? Dragons are rare! If we let them go like this, the lord will blame us if he knows!"
"Contact the people of the Dragon Lich Church! I think they will be interested in getting the Three bone dragons!" said the rough man, although his voice was rough, his brain was very flexible.
"Of course, first of all, we must confirm the age of the three dragons. If they are legendary dragons or old dragons, then we can only give up."
After speaking, a night breeze blew, blowing up the cloak of the rough man, revealing the strong body inside.
It was an extremely burly man with no clothes on his upper body. He had a necklace of animal teeth around his neck and an extremely conspicuous tattoo on his chest.
The tattoo was the bloodstained claws of a beast!
Under the night sky, it exuded a strange light!
........
In the slum area.
The carriage stopped.
Although it’s midnight, there are still some figures walking around here.
Seeing a gorgeous carriage stop, these people stopped one after the other to watch.
The coachman is a middle-aged man in his forties. He has a little mustache and his clothes are meticulously arranged.
He has worked for Andre for many years and has seen many big scenes and important people. Therefore, his instinctive reaction upon seeing the dirty slums and the dark shadows is to flinch in disgust. After taking a deep breath, he looked back at the carriage.
"Mr. Andre, we have arrived at the slum."
"Thank you, Tony." Andre pulled down the curtain and stepped off the carriage.
Every move of his revealed the elegance of a nobleman.
This may be because he has dealt with humans too many times in recent years.
Arman jumped out of the carriage, followed by Shillong.
After the three dragons got out of the car, Shillong glanced at the slums.
The houses are very low and dilapidated and the walls are full of graffiti. There is a puddle of foul liquid on the ground and garbage is everywhere.
Several young men in tattered clothes looked at them with greedy eyes.
Of course, their sight was mostly on Arman, his silver scale clothing was so dazzling!
Even at midnight, with the faint moonlight shining on it, it gleamed with a dreamy and mysterious silver color. Anyone can see that it’s very valuable at a glance.
"Why are these guys looking at me? They are really bad guys! It seems necessary to punish them!" Arman frowned.
He wanted to step forward.
Andre hurriedly stopped and said,
"Don't be impulsive! They just looked at you. They didn't do anything. If we act first, it means that it’s our fault. These people are poor people. Suddenly seeing your luxurious clothes, they will inevitably show that kind of look. "
"Tch! Forget it, take us to Sister Nefiro."
"Let's go!" Andre noded. After walking a few steps forward, he turned to the coachman and said,
"Tony, you go back first."
"Okay! Sir!" Tony replied: "Sir, you have to be careful here."
"Go back, Tony, you know that I’m not a weak businessman," Andre said with a smile.
Tony turned around and walked away tremblingly.
Andre led the two dragons into the slum. He walked calmly around like evil spirits.
He twitched his nose gently as he walked.
Soon, the three dragons came to a small alley full of sewage.
"This is it," Andre said.
Just after Andre finished speaking, a popping noise sounded from the alley, followed by the cry of several men,
"This lady! Please stop beating us! We really don’t have any evil thoughts for you! We dare not have any evil ideas for you!"
"Huh! Do you want to lie to me? I felt it clearly when I walked here just now! You are clearly coveting my beauty! You want to force yourself on me! Your luck has run out, evil guys! You met the great me today! Nefiro! Evil will be punished by justice!" A crisp female voice rang out after.
"We really don’t dare to harbor any lust or greed for you, Woman! Now, no one in our slums dares to act presumptuously towards you! Your name is like thunder! In this area, who would dare not give you face?" The man's voice was full of pleading.
"Hahaha! It turns out that my reputation is already so widespread! As expected, justice will prevail!" The female voice was full of pride.
"Then can I go? Beautiful Miss Nefiro." The male voice was full of cautiousness.
"No! Seeing that you’re wandering so sneakily at such a late hour, you must be planning to do something bad! Meeting me is your bad luck! Take this!"
Followed by the female voice was the sound of punching and kicking, accompanied by the screams of a terrified male.
Shillong and Arman stood at the entrance of the alley, looking at each other.
’What is going on here?’
