------------------------
Among these soldiers, there are many who he watched grow up, but right now he can only act as a bystander, watching them die from the side.
"Haah..."
At this moment, Nebula saw a young warrior he knew getting slapped by an enemy cultivator into a meat pie and suddenly sighed, but he quickly suppressed this emotion. He had seen too many similar scenes across his life, he had learned to suppress his emotion and put rationality above all a long time ago.
The only thing that he is truly concerned about now is the Metaverse. If something happens that might cause great losses to the Metaverse, he might not be able to suppress his emotions. For example, Luo Feng falling into danger and even death.
In his view, Luo Feng is related to the future of the entire Metaverse.
In this battle, the two sides finally came to a truce, because no one could really stop the other. After Nebula saw Luo Feng retreat safely, he finally heaved a sigh of relief.
"Luo Feng, how about it, were you injured?"
After Luo Feng returned to the camp, Nebula worriedly asked him.
"Thank you Master Nebula for your concern, I was not injured."
In fact, Luo Feng was indeed slightly injured, but with the regeneration speed of a domain master, he doesn’t need to worry about that, he just needs some rest.
Luo Feng looked full of energy. He had an inexplicable expression of excitement on his face.
This was because he had a hearty battle with the enemy’s mid-stage domain master-level powerhouse. It caused him to discover some shortcomings in his cultivation.
"Master Nebula, I have some insights again, I may have to practice in retreat for a while." Luo Feng said apologetically to Xingyun.
Hearing this, Nebula was overjoyed.
"Since you have a new insight, go and practice quickly, don't delay your own practice." Nebula said with a smile.
"Yes, sir."
Luo Feng nodded, then turned off the communication watch and walked to a quiet and remote room.
The Metaverse and the Izumo Empire maintained such a stalemate for the next period of time. In fact, if Fang Yun takes action, there would be no need to do this at all. With his power, he can directly annihilate the enemy fleet and even the entire Izumo Empire.
Anyway, the Izumo Empire can’t pose much of a threat to them, so Fang Yun didn't pay much attention to the battle on the front line. He is more concerned with the follow-up development of the Metaverse league.
He now hopes that more great geniuses like Luo Feng will emerge from the Metaverse, releasing more of his burdens.
Therefore, he is prepared to pay close attention to the construction of the Metaverse’s training camps and academy during this period.
As for the Izumo Empire, he has long since regarded it as a whetstone for the Metaverse.
The ninth training camp was built very quickly. The second phase of the academy’s development was completed and the second batch of trainees could be recruited immediately. However, with the increase in the number of students, the number of instructors gradually became tight.
Fang Yun originally planned to continue transferring instructors from the first training camp, but after realizing that this is kind of redundant, he began to select the veterans from the battlefield.
The cultivation bases of these veterans varied greatly. The weaker ones were just gods of war. Moreover, the majority of instructors he brought back were God of Wars.
Fang Yun feels that these God of War level cultivators are enough to teach the basics and train lower-level students. As for those geniuses, they need more powerful teachers to teach. If they show enough talent, they can naturally be trained by the best instructors of the camp. If not, they can only join general classes like the rest.
The quotas of the ninth training camp were much sought after. Most of the parents and children in Aegis city and even the satellite cities started wrecking their brains to think of a way to get that quota.
In fact, satellite city is closer to the first training camp in the Great Cosmic city, but the threshold of the first training camp is much higher. That’s without mentioning the great competition.
In a blink of an eye, another three years passed.
During these three years, Fang Yun's cultivation level has improved again. First of all, his size can already stretch over an entire solar system, but that wasn’t the most important.
He is already close to the immortal king level. Fang Yun felt that he was just a step away.
Immortal kings are considered as a powerful existence even across the entire ancient universe. Even in the center of the ancient universe, cultivators of this level are considered giants.
The increase in Fang Yun's current cultivation base is very noticeable. It caused the higher-ups of the Metaverse to feel very nervous. On one hand, they are naturally very happy that Fang Yun’s cultivation and power are getting higher and higher.
In this way, their Metaverse will become a feared existence amongst many Empires. However, they are also afraid. They are afraid that with the increase in his power, Fang Yun will eventually leave them.
No matter how strong they become in the future, deep in his heart, Nebula still doesn't want Fang Yun to leave. After all, when the Metaverse was the most desperate, Fang Yun stepped forward to save them.
Nebula was naturally grateful to Fang Yun from the depth of his heart.
He has truly regarded this cosmic serpent as their leader, something that he couldn’t imagine a few decades ago.
Compared to the help and protection Fang Yun provides them with, the energy stones and matter they provide him are nothing!
Fang Yun didn't care about Nebula’s inner thoughts, he just paid attention to the ninth training camp and satellite city as usual.
Now the first satellite city has been completely built, and the manpower on it has been arranged. Almost all its defense forces were drawn from the leading fleet.
Fang Yun decided that it’s going to be the first and last time. The next time, they must draw forces from the two training camps.
Speaking of training camps, the ninth training camp can accommodate more than 100,000 students. It’s naturally quite inferior to the first training camp. In fact, it’s even a bit worse than the head institutions of other regions.
However, the ninth training camp didn’t stop its process of expansion. Fang Yun plans to make this training camp into the largest training camp in the entire alliance.
The first training camp focuses more on quality. Its main target is the elites and geniuses of the Metaverse league. The ninth training camp on the other hand is more about quantity, it relies on its large student base and fierce competition to create top powerhouses.
Cultivation isn’t about talent, will, character, hard work, luck, and many other factors that decide whether someone can truly become a powerhouse.
Compared with the first training camp, the ninth training camp is taking the civilian route, but Fang Yun feels that the top students who will come out of the ninth training camp in the future will become the pillars of the Metaverse
Even if they won’t be as good as the students in the first training camp, they will be much more powerful than the students of other academies.
Back on the front line, Luo Feng and his fleet are still confronting the previous fleet, but the scale of the battle has been greatly toned down.
However, according to the latest intelligence, the Izumo fleet has already called for reinforcements.
