---------------------
After the Metaverse army took over the defense line of the Gama Empire, it immediately started repairing it. Fang Yun had nothing to do. Now that there is no strong enemy attacking, he doesn’t need to show up.
The fleet used the Gama Empire’s planets, space cities, and fortresses to build a large space base for stacking logistic materials.
They didn't choose to directly move forward. Although they currently have the strength to do so. After some deliberation between the higher-ups of the Metaverse, including Nebula, they decided against it.
Although the Metaverse technically has the strength to invade the Gama Empire, their foundation is still too thin. All the cultivators present at the moment are their top strength.
Even if they lose just a part of them, that will be a great loss. It would take them a long time to cultivate cultivators of the same level.
It was precisely because of this that they decided to stay here for a while. After their logistics forces arrive, they will continue moving, conquering one place at a time.
About five days later, the first batch of logistical materials had already been delivered from the Metaverse Alliance. In fact, not long after Fang Yun and the others left, the first batch of materials was being raised.
Not only did they have logistical materials delivered, according to Nebula’s previous plan, they also plan to build a passage to the outer universe from the Kapor star belt, then add several small space bases along the way for security and delivery.
If they conquer the Gama Empire in the future, then a connection between the metaverse and the Gama Empire is definitely necessary. At that time, the various cargo spaceships and merchant fleets will definitely have to travel between two places.
There are many star beasts in the Kapor Star Belt. Due to its length and thickness, the Kapor Starfield is home to countless star beasts and even pollutants.
Although most of these star beasts aren’t particularly powerful, they usually live in groups. If such a group of star beasts was to encounter a merchant fleet, then without the protection of a powerful cultivator or a military fleet, they will face destruction.
This will undoubtedly make the journey too dangerous and not worth it for most chambers of commerce, which is not conducive to the exchanges between the Gama Empire and the Metaverse. Therefore, even if it’s very early, Nebula decided to add several space bases along the way.
Fang Yun had nothing to do during this time, and he didn't pay attention to the battle or the transformation of the defensive line. These things will be solved by Nebula and Luo Feng, there’s no need for him to intervene.
He noticed that the two of them are doing very well, especially Luo Feng. This young man not only had high strength but also strong leadership and charisma.
Not long ago, a fleet flew from the depths of the Gama Empire and attacked. It should be the reinforcements sent by the leaders of the Gama Empire.
Unfortunately, they didn’t expect that the defensive line didn’t even hold up before the reinforcements arrived.
When this reinforcement fleet arrived, it was ambushed by Luo Feng and a part of the Metaverse fleet, directly destroying a quarter of the reinforcement fleet and causing them to retreat.
Fang Yun's attention was more often focused on the matter of establishing a space base on the channel between the Metaverse and the Gama Empire that Nebula mentioned before.
He felt that this matter was more important than the current war because the Gama Empire isn’t a threat to him anymore. He felt that it’s unnecessary to pay so much attention to it.
Although Nebula mentioned that they should focus on turning the territory they just acquired into their own, most of the army officials felt that they should focus more on the war. Fang Yun directly ordered the Metaverse base to send more logistics and build space bases on the way.
Previously, they had built a large space base in the central part of the Kapor Star Belt and developed it into a space city.
Even Fang Yun designated a nearby place as his residence, and Nebula and the other 4 leaders of the Metaverse also designated their office there.
It can be said that that space city has already become the capital of the Metaverse.
Many people regard that space city as a holy land.
The current space city was named by Fang Yun as the Great Cosmic City. It’s the home and gathering place of all top families, companies, and cultivators in the Metaverse.
There is no other city around the Great Cosmic city, and even the closest first heaven is far away from it.
Therefore, this city is a bit like an island. The reason why Fang Yun was so intent on building those space bases was mostly to provide a defense line to the Great Cosmic city.
The space base on the road will serve as a defensive line. If there is an invasion of foreign enemies, the Cosmic city won’t be the first to face the invasion of foreign enemies.
It wasn’t just these space bases, Fang Yun is also planning to vigorously develop the first training camp and establish a few more training camps.
However, this matter isn’t in a hurry, they need to slowly develop it.
On the other hand, after Nebula knew that Fang Yun's attention wasn’t on the front line, he suddenly felt a bit tight in his heart, but he didn’t show any fear.
After all, they didn’t have Fang Yun’s help at the beginning. Just about 20 years ago, they were far weaker than the Gama Empire. Even if they knew that the situation was desperate, they still fought to the death, without the intention to give up or surrender.
Now their strength has risen, and Fang Yun is watching from behind. There’s no reason to be timid!
There are already a million warriors of the Metaverse Alliance on the defense line of the Gama Empire. Many of these soldiers have reached the level of God of War.
Only God of War level cultivators can drive the powerful single-command ships of the Metaverse, allowing them to burst with power beyond their level.
Of course, this kind of power still cannot be compared with the planet-level cultivators, but a hundred God of War-level cultivators driving single-command ships can kill a planet-level cultivator.
In fact, about 30 God of War-level cultivators driving single-command ships are enough to hold a planet-level cultivator.
In their fleet, a unit consists of 30 God of War level masters, 30 units is a group, and 100 groups are a team. Each team was arranged with certain inspection tasks to patrol near the defensive line.
In addition, there are a lot of planet and star level masters overseeing patrols. If these ships find the enemy, but they find that they can’t deal with them, they ask for help from their direct supervisors.
In the past few days, they found a large number of spies from the Gama Empire, and all of them have been dealt with.
In addition, relying on the spies they have placed in the Gama Empire, they still know a lot about its internal situation.
