Chapter 65: Anna is Such a Good Person!
🕑 Added 2021-07-17 23:49:48 +0000 UTC"Okay! You will be the first human friend of mine! Arman!" Arman said happily.
Shillong just silently watched.
Anna arranged for the two dragons to sit down and walked to the counter by herself.
Guarding the counter was a bald man in his forties who looked very sturdy.
He is the owner of the tavern and an ex-mercenary. He was fortunate to survive after many years of danger, saving enough money to open this tavern and live peacefully.
The tavern owner watched Anna coming and asked, "What do you want?"
"Three servings of black pork, three servings of long-billed duck, three servings of yogurt, a barrel of great spirits, double the dose of alcohol!" Anna whispered.
"Great Spirit? How come you’re willing to spend so much money? You’re not the same as usual!" The boss was a little surprised. Afterward, he carefully looked at Arman and Shillong.
"Hurry up and serve me wine and food! You can't invite others without these two!"
"Haha! No problem!" The boss smiled, turned, and shouted at the workers and chefs in the kitchen.
Anna returned to her seat and continued chatting with the two dragons.
This woman is more talkative and it didn't take her much time to make Arman laugh, causing him to have a good impression of her.
Anna might have felt that Shillong wasn’t easy to ‘get along with’ so she focused her energy on Arman.
Shillong has been listening to the conversation of the two. A human woman and a young dragon.
Not long after, the boss prepared dining utensils for the three of them, an iron fork, a knife, a wooden cup, and an iron plate.
Afterward, the boss walked over with a wooden barrel in his right arm. He pulled the cork and filled the wooden cups for two dragons and one human,
"Three guests, while waiting for the dishes. You can taste my special wine. Great Spirit! The taste is absolutely strong! It’s a good wine that only real men can drink!"
The wine in the wooden cup looks transparent, but it's a bit turbid. It smells a bit pungent, but it also has an addictive aroma.
This aroma directly caught the attention of the mercenaries around. One of them loudly shouted.
"Boss! What kind of wine is that? Why is it so fragrant? I haven’t seen it in the months I’ve been here! Have you been hiding it for yourself?"
"Hahaha! This is the boss's best wine, Great Spirits! 1 gold coin a barrel! You kid want to try it?" Someone laughed.
"1 gold coin??"
The person who spoke before was startled. Although he was a highly paid mercenary, he did not dare to drink this wine!
This bucket is worth his income for a month! If he buys it, he will have to eat soil for the next few weeks!
He is saving money to get a beautiful daughter-in-law! Money can't be spent like that!
The man immediately closed his mouth and ate his barbecue and 50 copper coins barrels- of ale.
"Wine! I know this thing, I heard that humans love to drink it! Today I can also taste it!"
Arman said, then quickly picked the wooden cup and took a sip, his drinking method showed the boldness of the dragon clan. He chugged utmost of the cup in one single gulp.
After taking a sip of the famous wine, Arman put down his glass, frowned, and savored it carefully,
"Well, it feels a bit spicy, it seems quite ordinary, why do humans like to drink so much?"
"Are you okay?" Anna looked at Arman dumbfounded.
"What? Was something supposed to happen to me?" Arman looked puzzled.
"Hahaha! Little brother is really powerful! Let's go on!" Anna quickly smiled and waved for Arman to continue drinking.
Arman took another gulp.
Anna’s eyes twitched as she watched his rough way of drinking. This "big business" doesn’t look very promising!
But this can never stop her determination!
Whether to become a noble lady and raise a few handsome slaves or to go to work in the sea depends on this chance!
’I believe in my own vision! These two alien imps are definitely rich!’
"Come here! Don't be idle, Brother Shillong! Drink!" Anna didn't forget Shillong either.
Shillong nodded and took a sip.
”Hiss~”
It tastes pretty good!
This wine should be similar to Blue planet’s white wine,
When he was a Blue Planet human, he didn't like to drink, but now that he has turned into a dragon, he actually likes the taste of this wine a bit!
Shillong picked up the wooden cup and drank it all in just a few sips.
"Huh~ not bad!" Shillong exclaimed, then looked at Anna who has had an ugly expression.
"You drink too! Don't just watch us drink, it's embarrassing us!"
"Ha ha ha... I will also drink, drink..." Anna smiled awkwardly, then took a small sip.
"Huh~" She exhaled and said, "It seems that this barrel is not enough! Two little brothers, continue to drink! I'll order some more wine!"
She said as she walked to the counter again, then whispered to the boss, "Three times the concentration and one more bucket!"
"No problem." The boss smiled.
Turning around, he took out a bucket and placed it next to the two dragons.
The three of them continued to drink, and it didn't take long for the food to arrive.
It turned into drinking, eating, and talking.
Anna was talking most of the time. She rarely drank, but she often urged Shillong and Arman to drink.
The two little dragons drank a lot! Enough to make ten strong men very drunk.
The first barrel of wine was quickly dried up.
Arman drank about 35%, Shillong had 55%, and the remaining 10% was naturally drunk by Anna. This woman has been forced to drink by Shillong.
She was already a little drunk at this time.
Her face was flushed, adding more glamour to her pretty face. She shouted gleefully, wobbling around.
"Come on! Keep drinking! Today, I won’t go before the two of you are drunk! Just order what you want!"
Arman’s eyes lit up upon hearing these words.
"Anna, you are such a good person! You know that these dishes are far from enough to fill us! That’s why you told us to order what we want! You are such a considerate woman!”
”Boss! Serve us all of the dishes you have!"
"Huh?" The boss who had been observing Anna's table from the corner of his eye immediately walked over after hearing these words.
"Are you sure? I don’t think you can finish it and the cost is very high."
"Yes! Anna told us that we can order whatever we want! Don't worry, boss, we will definitely finish eating!" Arman said confidently.
"..." The boss looked at Anna.
"Hehehehe~" Anna smiled a little drunkenly,
"Go ahead! Anyway, I’m about to get rich! This little money is nothing at all!"
Her mind was completely muddled. She is already very drunk.
"Okay! That's what you said!" The boss said blankly and left.
The three of them started to eat and chat together happily again. They have already consumed the second barrel.
The dishes came slowly, and the two dragons ate very quickly. The plates were stacked one by one.
Time quickly passed in such a merry manner. At noon the next day, Anna woke up with a splitting headache.
She glanced at the empty tavern, a little confused. She stood up swayingly, not knowing where to go, and knocked down the stool in front of her.
"Hey~Where am I? Why does my head hurt so much!" She asked with a confused expression.
"Are you finally awake?" A vigorous male voice came. It was the tavern owner. He walked out of the back kitchen. He was busy just now, preparing the ingredients for the evening.
"Jamie? Why am I here with you?" Anna asked blankly.
