------------------
"It seems that they’re not stupid."
Fang Yun was eavesdropping on the conversation between Nebula and Tom. He is satisfied with their self-consciousness. After that, he stopped paying attention to them.
Now his goal is to continuously devour all kinds of things, acquire bio-energy and evolve.
When he was rampaging across the nine heavens domain before, he wasn’t so urgent. After all, he was already quite powerful and he had a rough idea about the top combat power of this domain.
But now it's different.
There is a brand new civilization outside. Furthermore, the power of this civilization is far beyond the nine heavens domain. Even with his current power, he is unlikely to be the opponent of that cultivation civilization. In fact, if they get serious, they can probably deploy enough power to deal with him.
So at this time, he has to take the opportunity to strengthen himself and evolve further before they can realize his threat.
Unfortunately, with his current speed of bio-energy acquisition, it’s taking longer and longer to evolve. Moreover, he is already extremely famous all over the nine heavens, reputation points will become harder and harder to get.
"Damn it!"
Fang Yun devoured a giant planet with a single bite. He felt a little irritable. He is still halfway short of the bio-energy requirement.
This half is a very large number, he needs thirty trillion points. That means that he has to devour 300,000 ordinary planets. This is already the number of planets in an area of dozens of light-years!
As he continued to madly devour everything in front of him, he left behind an extremely large empty area. This terrifying devouring speed and volume shocked the soldiers stationed in the space base. They were all scared that this terrifying behemoth would suddenly turn around and devour them.
"I wonder if I’m capable of devouring stars now."
Fang Yun's gaze fixed on a star not far ahead. The star is not very big, about 700,000 kilometers wide. It’s a bit smaller than the sun of the blue planet, but it exuded amazing light, heat, and energy.
This is a relatively young star. The bio-energy that can be obtained from devouring it is also amazing! Over 70 billion bio-energy points!
Fang Yun wanted to try devouring it. If he succeeds, that means that he can finally devour stars. His growth speed will increase by over a hundredfold!
Upon thinking of this, Fang Yun no longer hesitated. He resolutely approached the star. The terrifying temperature of this star had no effect on Fang Yun, he started to slowly devour it.
He still doesn't dare to swallow a star in one bite. What if it explodes in his stomach?!
Of course, he can do so, he is over 500,000 kilometers wide after all. It’s just that he shrunk his size.
As Fang Yun sucked its energy, the star got smaller and smaller. Although he was slowly swallowing it, the star still got smaller at a speed visible to the naked eye. About a day later, the star completely disappeared. It was sucked straight into his stomach.
"Well... yes, now I can devour smaller stars."
This star belongs to a relatively small level. There are countless bigger stars. Like the Arcturus that Fang Yun learned about in his past life, it’s more than 20 times bigger than the sun.
Fang Yun has seen a lot of stars as big as Arcturus during his journey. In fact, he has seen some that are hundreds to thousands of times bigger than the sun. The universe is too big, nothing is impossible.
While Fang Yun was eating the surrounding planets, Nebula and Tom held a small meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss their next plans.
Everyone agreed that the cooperation between them and the great serpent wouldn’t last long. When the great serpent gets familiar enough with the cultivation civilization, he’s likely to leave them. They don’t have anything worth its attention after all.
This is the outcome that Nebula and the other 3 don’t want to see.
"Nebula, what we need to do now is to discuss our cooperation terms with lord Ouroboros and to seek his shelter."
This is what Tom and the other two said to Nebula. Now, among the four of them, It’s Nebula that has the closest relationship with the great serpent, hence the communication problem will be handed to him.
Nebula also feels the heavy burden on his shoulders, but he has no choice. No one can replace his position now.
"I wonder if lord Ouroboros will agree to shelter us in the future?"
Nebula smiled bitterly, then walked out of the gate of the base. Afterward, he flew directly towards Fang Yun’s location.
He watched with a look of shock as Ouroboros devoured a star. His subordinates have already reported to him about this matter before, and as expected Ouroboros is indeed devouring a star at this moment.
That's a star!
Although it’s fairly stable, once it explodes, it will result in a catastrophic scene! Although the base has protection against the radiation produced by the supernovae, it will still suffer some damage if it’s close.
Of course, it will be directly vaporized if it’s within the supernovae range.
The sight of the great serpent devouring stars is truly something to behold. This scene is so rare that it might not have happened in the history of the nine heavens.
He didn't dare to bother Ouroboros at this critical moment.
He is afraid that the devouring process will go wrong, creating a supernova that will sweep this area. He will be truly unlucky if the explosion range spreads to him. At that time, even if he isn’t dead, he will be seriously injured if not crippled.
Time passed bit by bit, and after waiting for a long time, the great serpent finally devoured the last bits of the star.
“Burb!”
After devouring that star, Fang Yun burped in satisfaction. He turned around and looked at Nebula.
"Let's talk about it, what are you coming to ask me for?" He asked knowingly.
Seeing that they started talking about business, a serious expression appeared on Nebula’s face.
"Lord Ouroboros, I came here on behalf of the nine heavens’ domain. We ask for your blessing and guardianship.”
After saying this, he gently placed his right hand on his heart and bowed, expressing his humble attitude towards a superior creature.
At this time, Nebula completely lowered his posture. He no longer holds himself as an equal to Fang Yun, but rather as a subordinate or even follower.
"Bless you?" Fang Yun had known Nebula’s intention long ago, but he still couldn’t help but laugh,
"I don't need followers, so forget about it."
Hearing Fang Yun's words, even though Nebula was already prepared, his complexion couldn't help but change. He hurriedly said.
"Master Ouroboros, we sincerely ask for your blessing."
