"Fortunately, we didn't provoke enmity with such an existence, otherwise..."
Thinking of such a scene, Nebula's body trembled. If they recklessly attacked the giant serpent, like the heavens below them, they would be destroyed by it, without the need for the cultivation domain to take action.
Upon thinking of this, Nebula ordered the fleet to halt. He didn’t even think about assisting the giant serpent now, because they would hinder it at most. The enemy fleet is like a chicken waiting to be slaughtered by him.
“Huh, it seems that the appearance of such a miraculous creature at such a critical time is a blessing to the nine heavens domain."
If it was in the past, Nebula might still worry that Fang Yun might conspire against them, but after seeing his performance today, he didn’t have such a worry anymore.
After seeing his strength, Nebula realized that it’s not difficult for this monster to conquer the nine heavens if it ever wanted to, and this is probably far from its limit.
I need to discuss with Tom and the others about how to deal with Ouroboros."
Nebula felt that now they must firmly tie themselves to this giant serpent.
Ouroboros’s primary objective is to devour energy, and from the look of it, it doesn’t seem to have a sense of belonging or collective honor with the nine heavens.
The reason why he decided to fight alongside them is probably that he has scruples about the cultivation domain.
“We must make sure that our existence is valuable to Ouroboros."
Nebula thought internally.
Without the help of Ouroboros, they might not be able to resist the cultivation domain for long. After all, they have been targeted. Each wave of attacks is getting stronger and stronger. At some point, they will be completely unable to resist.
Upon thinking of this, he shifted his sight to outer space again. He silently watched as Ouroboros devoured the planet-level cultivators, then started rampaging across the enemy’s fleet.
"He’s unmatched..."
Nebula helplessly muttered. He sorted his thoughts, then quickly flew towards Fang Yun on the opposite side.
"Master Ouroboros."
After flying in front of Fang Yun, Nebula respectfully called Fang Yun. To be honest, after seeing his violent massacre and the ease with which he crushed those planet-level masters, Nebula felt great pressure while facing him.
"What?"
Fang Yun glanced at him faintly and said,
"This fleet has been completely solved by me now, let's go back first."
Upon saying this, he took the lead and flew back through their original route. Nebula and his fleet closely followed behind.
Soon, they flew out from the Kapor Star Belt and returned back to the space base. Afterward, Fang Yun flew to a remote location and started devouring the planets and meteorites there.
Nebula bid goodbye, then headed in the other direction. He headed straight towards the space base. He needs to personally recount the situation back to Tom and the others, then discusses their next plan.
Tom, who was standing in the command post, turned around and said after seeing Nebula.
"How about it, how far is the enemy from our current location?"
"About that. The enemy fleet had been wiped out."
Nebula said to Tom with a weird look on his face. Tom almost jumped out due to the shock. He looked at Nebula with wide eyes.
"Really?" Tom looked incredulous,
"How many people did we lose?"
"No one died."
Nebula didn’t beat around the bush. He directly said.
"They were killed by lord Ouroboros. His strength is still above our imagination."
Nebula said with a wry smile on his face,
"Tom, we have to discuss and determine our value for lord Ouroboros."
Nebula said through gritted teeth. He wanted to say something further, but he couldn’t say anything in the end.
He remembered that not long ago, the four of them were considered as the hegemons of this domain. Immense power, countless resources, and civilizations were under their hands. They hailed themselves as supreme and their arrogance broke through the sky.
However, all of this was broken after they encountered the cultivation domain outside. They found out that they were nothing more than frogs at the bottom of a well. There are still many civilizations and powers beyond them outside the barren zone.
Only then did they start to correct their mentality. Finally, after spending a lot of time and resources to get a cultivation method. They started to slowly cultivate. They reminded themselves that the universe is very big and they are insignificant.
Most importantly, the nine heavens domain isn’t safe anymore.
They originally thought that they were already quite humble, but such a terrifying pollutant appeared from their domain, further breaking their arrogance.
The strength of this pollutant is powerful beyond comparison. Let alone their personal strength, even the power of their heaven is insignificant compared to it.
Not to mention the four of them, more than 40 masters were easily crushed by it. Each one was as strong if not stronger than them.
This terrifying strength caused them to feel a sense of frustration.
"Tom, you haven’t seen it personally. The leading 15 planet-level masters were crippled and devoured by it in just over 10 seconds."
Upon saying this, Nebula quickly sent the copied video material to Nebula.
After a few seconds, a holographic projection appeared in front of them, on which was the battle scene between Fang Yun and the enemy fleet.
A few moments after the start of the battle, Tom watched with wide eyes as Fang Yun defeated and devoured 15 planet-level powerhouses in just over 10 seconds.
Afterward, he watched him spend a few minutes crippling the other fleeing planet-level masters then devour them. In the end, he destroyed the fleet without any difficulty.
"He’s a bit too powerful, right?" Tom was stunned. This degree of power is different from what the great serpent has displayed in his battle against the fifth and sixth heaven.
“Does a star-level master have such a terrifying strength?"
"Is it possible that Master Ouroboros isn’t a star-level master, but beyond? Maybe a cosmic powerhouse?"
Nebula and Tom looked at each other with wide eyes,
"The four of us need to discuss this matter carefully. Just as you said, what we need to consider now is what we can offer to lord Ouroboros. We absolutely mustn’t appear as worthless to him!"
At the moment, there’s no reason for the great serpent to cooperate with them. His cooperation is almost like a charity. After finding out more information about the situation of the cultivation domain, the great serpent might just abandon them.
So the four of them have to discuss how they can firmly tie themselves and the great serpent together.
