-----------------------
In space, a behemoth raised its head and roared. Even via a projection, it looked extremely oppressive.
"This monster is too powerful. Why did we even provoke such a thing."
Mo Yun looked at the giant serpent, bit his lip tightly then loudly shouted.
"Let’s leave now!"
The moment his voice sounded, he suddenly remembered one thing and shouted again,
"Connect me to Carmen now!"
The communication was quickly connected, Carmen's face appeared on the holographic projection and Mo Yun immediately said.
"Carmen, immediately come to our location, we will act together."
"Okay."
Carmen didn't shy away at this time, because he also knew that the situation is very urgent now. There’s no need to care about military discipline or orders now, otherwise, they will truly lose their lives.
After all, their spaceship has no energy shield now.
Carmen started giving orders to his soldiers to fly towards Mo Yun’s team. Unexpectedly, a huge shadow swept over their spaceship.
Compared with that shadow, their spaceship can’t even be considered an ant.
”No, it's the giant serpent!"
Carmen's heart almost stopped, he yelled loudly.
"Attack! Set the intensity of the weapon system to the maximum and attack!!"
“Buzz! Buzz!”
At this moment, the weapon system of Carmen’s spaceship started to operate frantically. It was about to launch a frantic attack.
However, the giant serpent lunged towards them fiercely. Before they could complete the attack, they and the surrounding spaceships were directly swallowed, vanishing into the darkness.
On the other end, Mo Yun was anxiously waiting for his friend Carmen to come over, but he suddenly saw the giant serpent appear on another holographic projection and swallow the entire spaceship.
"No!!!"
Mo Yun looked at the projection in front of him with red eyes. At the moment, the projection had become dark. This was the projection connecting him to Carmen’s spaceship, but it was cut off.
"Damn beast!"
Mo Yun's eyes were red due to anger and grief. He shouted at his soldiers to attack.
"Aim at that giant serpent, Attack, beat it into pulp!!"
Due to his frantic howling, even his voice became hoarse.
“Buzz! Buzz!”
The ship's weapon started to frantically operate. All of their weapons were aimed at the behemoth in the distance, including a barrel with a radius of several hundred meters.
“Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!”
Countless laser beams directly flew to the torso of the great serpent. At the same time, many ships in the fleet started attacking it.
However, a strange distortion appeared around the great serpent, deflecting all the attacks away.
“Roar!!”
Fang Yun, who faced countless laser attacks, roared loudly and started to attack everything around. He mainly used the "Gamma-Ray Burst" to attack, sweeping everything around him, destroying countless peripheral spaceships.
His speed is extremely fast,
Coupled with the assistance of the "Space Barrier". He was able to freely move around and exchange blows with the fleet.
The fleet could only launch remote attacks on him. It didn’t dare to send battleships to surround him anymore. This made Fang Yun much bolder. This time, he destroyed at least 30,000 ships.
The huge fleet was left with less than 500,000 battleships after this battle.
However, even such a large fleet couldn’t constitute a threat to Fang Yun. Especially now that the fleet had no thought of fighting against Fang Yun.
Their courage and fighting spirit had been completely broken by Fang Yun.
The current coalition fleet can only be eaten away bit by bit by Fang Yun. It might struggle a few times while getting slowly eaten, but it doesn’t dare and doesn’t have any way to counterattack.
Fang Yun freely left, but the fleet was not calm.
Mo Yun squeezed his fists tightly. His eyes were bloodshot. He hated the giant serpent that killed his best friend, but he hated the two commanders of the fleet even more.
It was precisely because of their orders and intention to use them as cannon fodder that they suffered so much. They didn’t regard them as living beings at all!
Forcing them to fight against the giant serpent, but shrinking away in the middle of the fleet and occasionally launching tentative attacks during each attack of the serpent.
This is why the giant serpent was able to easily come and leave with few injuries every time.
Moreover, such an unorganized attack sometimes affects people like them. They completely gave up on the battle formations and focused on the defensive formations.
"At the moment, the higher-ups have no intentions of fighting against the great serpent."
Mo Yun has already seen through everything.
"We are just a cannon fodder for them, used to delay the great serpent and postpone time until the reinforcements arrive."
Mo Yun clenched his hands tightly, the expression on his face changing a few times.
There are many people with thoughts like Mo Yun in the fleet. Even inside the fleet, there were quite a few people with strange thoughts.
These people also saw through the two commanders' unwillingness to resist and fear of further losses.
They were all extremely frustrated for such commanders. These people also had friends and even family members on the periphery, but they were already killed by the giant serpent.
They also have a belly full of anger, they want to fight desperately against the giant serpent, fighting until the end, but they have to obey orders and cannot obey indiscriminately.
"The situation of the fleet has become even worse."
Hua Rong closed his eyes slightly and sighed involuntarily. He didn't know whether his choice was right or wrong, but he could only continue to follow it until the end.
If they choose to fight desperately against the giant serpent, what will happen? No one is sure what will exactly happen, but he is sure that the losses will be much greater than now.
They might be able to seriously injure the great serpent, but the fleet will be completely disabled.
Anyway, he chooses to procrastinate and sacrifice a part of the fleet for the survival of the rest. How many people will be alive when the reinforcements arrive is up to god will.
