Chapter 61: Mysterious Airship
🕑 Added 2021-04-28 17:44:54 +0000 UTC"I'm sorry..." Shillong said with an embarrassed expression.
"You big bastard!"
"I'll fly slower next, don't worry," Shillong said, flapping his wings and slowly flying.
This time his flying speed was only 70 or 80 m/s.
Of course, a speed of more than 200 km/h isn’t slow, but it’s terribly slow compared to his normal supersonic speed.
"Stop!" Arman cried bitterly, "I haven't repaired my scales yet! How can I see other creatures like this?"
Shillong: "...Okay, you fix them as you like."
Shillong stopped flying.
Arman spent more than an hour in the sky before finally repairing his scales and making them shiny again.
The two dragons are back on the road.
...................
In the sky not far away.
A one-hundred-meter-long magical flying ship is flying slowly.
This spacecraft is cylindrical. It’s a bit like an airplane from Shillong’s past life, but it has no wings and is surrounded by several huge blue halos.
It looks very magical.
It’s hard to believe that this kind of high-tech product will appear in a backward middle-ages magical world.
Inside the spaceship.
A handsome young man dressed in a white robe is sitting on the main seat. He held a goblet in his hand.
He gently shook the wine glass with his right hand. The goblet was filled with a bright red unknown liquid.
He looked with a bored expression at the empty sky outside the window.
"How long will it take to go back? Turio."
He gently asked.
"His Royal Highness, at the current rate, it will take us two days and two nights."
On the lower position not far from the young man, sat a middle-aged man in a blue and black magic robe.
"I can't wait to go back and see if all the things I want have been collected."
The handsome young man who was called His Royal Highness smiled.
"Your Royal Highness. After your collection order has been issued, it’s naturally easy to complete with the strength of our empire, but the time is still too short. The five-color evil dragons may be easy to capture, but capturing dragons from the metal dragon clan is not easy, especially the golden and silver dragons are the most difficult to capture.”
“I am afraid that you will be disappointed, your Highness."
The middle-aged mage said with a slight smile.
"The army of the empire is invincible! There is nothing that the empire can't do, Tullio. Those guys outside the empire are still stuck in ancient times. They can’t defy the empire at all! The same goes for the dragons! Their ‘powerful’ flesh and flashy spells are not worth mentioning!"
The young man arrogantly said.
His tone was filled with pride and confidence in the empire, and disdain for the outside world.
"Because of this, the empire is cursed by the gods. Your Highness, our technology has not progressed for decades." Tulio looked worried.
"Huh!" The man called His Highness snorted, obviously a little unhappy,
"Even so, the empire is invincible! The gods can't defeat us! They are afraid of us!"
Just after speaking, the young man, who had been watching the sky outside, suddenly looked shocked.
He saw a huge black and gold dragon flying by hundreds of meters away from their spaceship. There was a young silver dragon on its back.
A silver dragon that is difficult to capture and a giant dragon of unknown species?
’Well! My collection is almost complete.’
This thought flashed through his mind.
His Royal Highness's left hand suddenly patted the blue button on his seat and then said loudly.
"Control room! Turn around immediately and catch up with the black dragon behind!"
Tulio, who was standing behind the young man, was slightly surprised by this unexpected event, but he did not speak.
The speaker installed in an inconspicuous corner on the inner wall of the airship suddenly replied,
"Yes!"
The entire spaceships made a quick turn.
Seeing that the black dragon has flown thousands of meters away.
The blue halo around the spaceship became bright. At a speed of more than three hundred meters per second, it chased the black dragon.
As soon as he turned his head, Tulio saw His Highness's target and looked a little surprised,
"Your Highness! That black dragon is not easy to mess with! Just looking at its size, it is definitely an ancient dragon or above!"
"Why? Are you scared? The empire's army is invincible! Warships are invincible! How can these winged lizards contend with our invincible ships? They are only worthy of staying in my cage for me to watch!"
The young man called his Royal Highness didn’t seem to care.
The battleship he is riding on is a Marshal-class battleship, the absolute master of the sky!
It has already killed several legendary-class dragons!
"His Royal Highness, I think it's better to be more cautious. This giant dragon gives me a very bad feeling. I’m feeling a little uneasy by just looking at it." Tulio persuaded.
"You have fallen, Tulio! Do you think we will lose? It's ridiculous! Let all the soldiers on the spaceship tell you the answer!"
The young man said, then pressed the blue button again before saying.
"Everyone tells me! Is our fleet invincible? Will the capture of that dragon fail?"
"Our fleet is invincible! The capture will never fail!" A uniform shout sounded from the surrounding walls.
These voices are full of fanaticism.
"Have you heard? Your so-called uneasiness is useless, everyone thinks we are invincible!" His Highness said.
’Crazy! Everyone in the empire is crazy! They have fallen into blindness! The past glory has made everyone lose their minds!’
Turio sighed slightly, hoping that his feeling of uneasiness was just his imagination.
The silhouettes of the flying airship and the dragon were gradually drawing closer.
.................
Shillong glanced at the spaceship curiously when he passed it with Arman on his back.
’This spaceship looks so high-tech!’
’Sure enough, the scientific and technological strength of human beings cannot be underestimated!’
’My expectation is correct. The world is too big and there are too many things that I don't understand, so I must maintain sufficient awe while traveling outside.’
Shillong did not intend to provoke or contact this 100 meters long airship.
He turned his head and continued flying.
"What a big monster! What kind of monster is that! It's so big!" Arman also looked at the airship with a look of shock.
"Who knows..." Shillong didn't reply.
"Hey~ Shillong, that monster turned around! What does it want to do! Want to fight? Can you kill him?" Arman said nervously.
"Oh?"
When Shillong heard this, he turned his head and frowned slightly.
’What does the guy inside want to do? He’s not really planning to fight with them, right?’
Shillong thought as he watched the airship getting closer.
..........
They found us.
The young man looked at the black dragon who turned his head, and gave orders at the same time.
"[Titan Killer] recharge, launch after ten seconds. Solve that black dragon with one shot!"
The airship followed the black dragon until ten seconds later.
At the head of the airship, an iron plate suddenly disappeared, revealing a muzzle with a caliber of more than four meters.
The muzzle was shining with hot white light, shiny and dazzling.
In the next second, a white light beam burst out, and an unfortunate bird along the way was swept by the white light beam, instantly disappearing from this world without leaving a scream!
The space around it seemed to be twisting slightly, changing color!
”Boom!”
The white light shot straight on Shillong's rear.
A huge explosion swept the sky.
Shillong was surrounded by a mushroom cloud with a diameter of 100 meters!
He was pushed a hundred meters away by the impact of the explosion before he could stabilize his body. He felt a scorching force burning his scales.
It's a pity that he himself is a fire dragon, and this level of flame can't damage him!
Only the previous explosion caused him damage.
Looking at the scales that were hit by the white light, several of them were already distorted and deformed!
”Is this his first injury since birth?”
Although his skin was barely broken, this is the first time he was injured since birth.
"How could I encounter such trouble while going out for the first time?! Fine! I’ll just use them to try my current strength!"
Shillong did not admit defeat either.
He is planning to attack first, it’s fine if he can’t beat them.
With his speed around 3 to 4 times the speed of sound, these guys can’t even see his back, they can only smell his fart from behind!
He ordered Arman to turn into a human form, then hid him in his mouth.
Then, the scarlet-golden flame at the end of his wing flourished!
”Boom!”
Only a burst of gas was left in place!
The mushroom cloud that originally covered him was instantly dispersed!
The golden-red flame pulled out a long trail behind, extending towards the farther sky!
The young man inside the spaceship saw the mushroom cloud being washed away, but there was no trace of the dragon inside. He looked a little puzzled, although his [Titan Killer] is infinitely powerful.
As long as it hits! A single shot can kill a legendary-class Titan that is more than 30 meters tall or a legendary-class dragon of the same size!
But that black dragon didn’t look small. Its strength was definitely not bad. How could it be wiped out in a single shot?
Is this unknown dragon a paper tiger with only size going for it?
