---------------------------
The two heavens’ coalition fleet continued to look for the terrifying giant serpent. Unfortunately, there is still no news. It’s as if the great serpent completely disappeared.
After that, the coalition forces of the two heavens turned the seventh heaven’s giant bull constellation upside down, but they didn't find any trace of the giant serpent.
In the end, they concluded that the great serpent has left the seventh heaven’s giant bull constellation, causing them a headache.
After all, if the giant serpent remained in the giant bull constellation, they would have at least known its general location. Perhaps, after many battles, the giant serpent will be exhausted or will expose some flaws, allowing them to kill it.
It's a pity that now that giant serpent has escaped from the giant bull constellation. It will be extremely hard to find it in the future.
"I wonder if the great serpent is still in the seventh heaven?"
This is a problem that many people in the seventh heaven are concerned about, and a problem that the army and interstellar fleets need to solve urgently, otherwise, it will be extremely hard to stop the spread of panic.
The seventh heaven now is filled with an apocalyptic atmosphere, making many people feel despair and panic.
The commanders of the two heavens’ coalition fleet were also having a discussion. The content of the discussion is whether to stay or leave.
They can't leave until they find the target. Unfortunately, there is really no news about the giant serpent, hence they aren’t certain whether to stay or not.
The most important thing is that now they have collected a batch of body tissues from the giant serpent, and they want to rush back and give them to the headquarters in their heaven.
"Byrne, what do you think?"
In the holographic projection, Hua Rong asked Byrne, and Byrne replied without hesitation,
"We should continue to stay."
He said decisively, without any hesitation. He doesn’t have any other choice. If they allow the great serpent to roam freely, then it will eventually cross the seventh heaven and reach the sixth heaven. At that time, he wouldn’t even have the chance to regret it.
This is what their high-ups told him. They must trap the giant serpent in the seventh heaven, hunting it to exhaustion.
"You are afraid that the giant serpent will enter your sixth heaven, right?"
Hua Rong has already seen through Byrne's thoughts, but Byrne has no reason to lie to him, hence he admitted generously.
"Yes, that's the case. "
“However, the giant serpent has disappeared."
Hua Rong said helplessly.
In fact, the reason why he is so adamant about killing this great serpent in the seventh heaven is to avenge the countless comrades it killed.
However, this is just one aspect. Just as the sixth heaven fears that the great serpent will arrive in their homeland and wreak havoc, they are also afraid that the giant serpent crosses the sixth heaven and arrive in their fifth heaven.
Therefore, Hua Rong also hopes that the giant serpent will reappear as soon as possible, then get killed by them.
Unfortunately, they don’t have any way to find that behemoth for the moment. Most importantly, to keep a gigantic fleet such as theirs active requires tremendous energy and a lot of supplies.
They are usually able to maintain the energy of their fleet by mining resources and converting natural energy and radiation into usable energy.
Each of their spaceships is a big money-burner. The energy required to keep a single battleship active is unimaginable to low-level civilizations, let alone they have more than 600,000 battleships.
Mining planets and converting sun rays and radiation into energy isn’t a long-term solution.
"Hua Rong, what do you think?" Byrne asked Hua Rong expectantly.
He hoped that Hua Rong would stay. The giant serpent is extremely powerful, and only their fleet might not be able to cope, hence he needs the assistance of Hua Rong and the fifth heaven fleet in order to have assurance in hunting the great serpent.
"I need to report this matter to the leaders. I’m sorry, but I can’t make a personal decision."
Hua Rong said after a moment of hesitation. Although he had been told before coming to the seventh heaven that he can make his decisions as the commander of the fleet. Technically, as long as he can give a sufficiently convincing reason, he can stay or leave as he pleases.
However, this problem is too big, he dare not make a decision lightly.
Soon, the order was quickly passed over, and after receiving it, Hua Rong smiled wrily.
"What was their reply?"
Seeing Hua Rong's expression, Byrne had a guess about the reply. His tight heart finally relaxed.
"Byrne, the higher-ups ordered me to stay here."
Hua Rong said silently, "I requested them to change commanders, but they refused."
At this point, Hua Rong felt a little angry and helpless. He is tired of wandering in this dark space every day. He isn’t sure about what to do next.
The electromagnetic fluctuations in space are all captured by machines and processed. It’s a complicated process that doesn’t need intelligent creatures’ assistance.
Moreover, in the control center, there is a big and competent crew to deal with all kinds of information and situations. There’s no need for a commander like him at all.
Especially in this situation where there is no need to fight. At the moment, Hua Rong doesn’t want to waste time in this place, he wanted to go back. Unfortunately, he has to execute the higher-ups’ orders.
"In this case, we will have to cooperate for a while."
Byrne said with a smile on his face.
"Let's continue on our way. Since the higher-ups’ order is to stay here, then we must stay here. We should continue to look for the giant serpent.”
Anyway, intelligent creatures at their level have undergone genetic optimization since childhood, giving them hundreds of years of lifespan. A dozen or a few dozen years won’t affect them much, let alone they are soldiers and need to obey military orders.
Just when the outside world was making a lot of noise because of Fang Yun's disappearance, Fang Yun, who was lying on the surface of a star had already felt the changes in his body.
His size is constantly growing. His muscles are continuously tightening. His strength and explosive power are rapidly increasing, reaching a terrifying level. His scales are slowly condensing, increasing his defense to the next level.
Fang Yun felt a tingling sensation coursing through his body, but he didn't pay attention to this. Now, what he needs to do is wait.
The giant turtle has been guarding Fang Yun day and night. Occasionally, it went a bit further to hunt. Sometimes, it dragged a huge piece of meat for Fang Yun, but he couldn’t move at all, let alone eat. In the end, it could only eat by itself.
Fang Yun's body size has been growing all the time. It's just that evolution is very slow this time. Therefore, although Fang Yun has grown a lot, he is still in the midst of evolution.
About fifty years later, two huge fleets were wandering in the universe, and on a certain day, they flew near a giant star.
