-----------------------
"Boom!"
At the very end of a huge fleet, a giant serpent suddenly rushed out and devoured thousands of spaceships.
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"
The moment Fang Yun appeared, sirens and harsh alarms rang through the fleet, instantly informing the fleet of the appearance of the serpent behemoth.
This serpent is extremely big. It had a length of over a hundred thousand kilometers and a diameter of thousands of kilometers. Ordinary creatures can’t even be considered bacteria in front of it.
The mere presence of this behemoth exerted incredible pressure on the fleet, especially those pairs of huge golden pupils. They shone through the darkness like two giant suns.
"Attack!"
At the center of the fleet, Lu Ming immediately noticed Fang Yun’s appearance. Without the slightest hesitation, he gave the order to launch an attack.
"This monster actually made a detour and came behind us."
Lu Ming was a bit shocked. The giant serpent’s actions showed its wisdom and cautiousness, taking the battle situation out of control.
He particularly hates this kind of situation out of his control.
"Damn it, if it wasn't for our special detector's use restrictions. You would never be so arrogant!"
Lu Ming cursed under his breath. After taking a deep breath, he calmed down and coldly watched the holographic screen in front of him, on which was the battle scene of the giant serpent against the fleet.
“Boom! Boom! Boom!”
All kinds of attacks were fired at Fang Yun. To be honest, the artillery attacks from ordinary ships are useless to him. They can’t cause substantial damage.
However, these fleets consist of many advanced and powerful ships, especially the ships of the fourth heaven. Their attacks are different from those of the rest of the fleet.
They released some kind of green fissure energy attack. The explosive and penetrative energy of their energy attack is dozens of times more powerful than the rest of the ships. Not to mention the terrifying temperature they exuded. Fang Yun felt that even bathing in the core of a star is easier than receiving those attacks.
"Damn it, the firepower of those ships is too fierce."
Fang Yun glanced at the location of the fourth heaven ships with a look of fury. He quickly used “Gamma-Ray Burst” to destroy the surrounding fleets.
After destroying thousands of ships around him, he quickly fled away.
In this trial battle, Fang Yun destroyed more than 30,000 ships. Although most of them were ordinary ships and had no effect on the fleet as a whole, he still gave many soldiers a sense of oppression, even causing many of them to have anxiety and other mental problems.
This is mostly because most of them couldn’t cause any damage to the giant serpent. Most of the ordinary ships were barely able to create a few dozen meters wide wounds on the giant serpent.
However, these wounds are insignificant. Even the gullies between the serpent’s scales are much bigger. Their damage can’t even be considered as a scratch!
Basically, the fourth heaven ships were the lead attacker this time, the ordinary ships are nothing more than cannon fodder.
But at any rate, the giant serpent was repulsed, so even if many people are worried, there’s no major problem.
"Haah!"
In the command ship, Lu Ming heaved a sigh of relief upon seeing the giant serpent fleeing. However, he fell silent in the next moment, guessing when the giant serpent will attack them next time.
He does not doubt that this giant serpent will attack them again. This monster has a high IQ and from its past actions, it’s adamant about fighting them. It’s using an ancient mode of combat that was passed on since ancient times.
That is guerrilla warfare.
"Commander, I’m afraid that this giant serpent is planning to use guerilla warfare against us.”
Suddenly, Lu Ming’s adjutant walked up and said solemnly to him. What they fear most now is that the giant serpent uses this tactic.
The giant serpent holds the initiative due to its mobility and stealth. Most importantly, their special detectors can’t be used lightly, as their energy can easily run out.
"Did you send back the news?”
Lu Ming did not answer his adjutant's problem but asked him another thing.
"Commander, the news has been sent back."
"The higher-ups told us to hold the giant serpent for as long as possible. They are going to send the main army this time."
"Oh?"
Lu Ming raised his brows and said to his adjutant,
"So, what's the situation now? I mean our fifth heaven."
"If they send the main army this time, I’m afraid that our fifth heaven will fall into a very bad situation. Chaos is just the beginning."
Lu Ming had a solemn expression as he said this. The adjutant fell silent.
There’s a lot of pollutants in their fifth heaven, either taking sovereignty of a certain galaxy or being trapped in a certain area. They generally don’t cause too much trouble due to the supervision and suppression of special fleets, but now that all special fleets are being convened, they will certainly take this opportunity to cause trouble.
"This...yes."
After pausing for a moment, the adjutant hesitated and said. He certainly understood the commander’s meaning, but he still didn’t talk too much about this problem in the end.
"Send a message to the higher-ups. Tell them to rest assured, I will definitely drag the giant serpent until the reinforcements arrive."
"Even if I fight to the death, I will not let this monster cross the boundary line!”
“Yes!"
After hearing Lu Ming’s bold proclamation, the adjutant felt his blood surging up. In the next moment, he turned around and quickly walked to the communication room to send the message.
……….
After Fang Yun left, he found a place to heal his injuries. He knew that he still couldn't fight head-on against the ships of the fourth heaven small fleet. His only way out is guerilla warfare.
About a week later, Fang Yun completely healed his wounds and adjusted his state to the best shape again. From that day on, Fang Yun carried out successive attacks on the fleet.
The entire fleet was depressed because of Fang Yun’s harassment. The giant serpent always appears out of nowhere, launches a mad attack on them, then quickly flees away before they have the chance to encircle it.
Apart from the first time where Fang Yun was discovered due to carelessness, he wasn’t found in the next wave of attacks.
He still relied on the giant turtle’s stealth, but this time he was much more cautious, not daring to stay next to the fleet for too long, because he didn’t know when they would use their special detector.
After a thunder-like attack, he quickly escapes every time. The fleet suffered greatly due to him.
