---------------------
Hua Rong, the commander of the Fifth Heaven fleet, quickly got the news. In fact, he got the news earlier from his subordinates.
"Commander Byrne, what do you think?"
Hua Rong asked Byrne with a serious expression.
"This giant serpent has a very high IQ. It probably sensed the difference in strength between it and our fleet, hence it decided to use guerilla warfare."
Byrne saw through Fang Yun's plan all at once. In the sixth heaven, he is one of the top generals. He participated and led many battles against pollutants, and has seen many similar things.
However, the great serpent still caused him to feel solemn. Even if other pollutants use guerilla warfare, it’s not very effective for a prepared fleet.
The situation of the great serpent is completely different.
This giant serpent has a very troublesome stealth ability, hence they are helpless and very uncomfortable in the face of its tactics.
"Byrne, I think we can use a bait to trap the giant serpent."
Suddenly, the fifth heaven fleet’s commander Hua Rong said. Byrne hesitated for a moment, then continued to listen.
"I have a special spaceship in my fleet."
"It is equipped with an extremely powerful gravity generator."
Hua Rong paused, then said with a solemn expression.
"If we use this spaceship, we might be able to prevent the great serpent from using its stealth ability to escape.”
According to their discovery, after using its stealth ability, the giant serpent completely disappears from the material space, instead of being invisible in the ordinary sense.
Hence they concluded that the great serpent might be able to enter another space or dimension through folding space, without entering the hyperspace.
At first, they thought that the giant serpent should enter some kind of high-dimensional space that is difficult to access.
However, after thinking carefully about it, they concluded that it’s highly unlikely, almost impossible. If the giant serpent can enter high-dimensional spaces at will, it doesn’t need to use guerilla tactics to deal with their fleet.
If the giant serpent had that ability, it can be considered as a high-dimensional lifeform, not a mere level 4 pollutant. It should be able to easily slaughter their fleet and they wouldn’t be able to even resist.
Therefore, Hua Rong and the others guessed that the great serpent should be able to access the deep layers of space, close to the edge of their dimension.
In this case, although the great serpent doesn’t have enough attack power to face their fleet head-on, it still made them fleet powerless and even a bit of panic.
Is it possible for the giant serpent to develop a skill that allows it to enter a high-dimensional space in the future? The energy and matter in high-dimensional spaces are completely different from their current space.
If it develops such ability in the future, even if they had assembled all the fleets of their two heavens, they can only be slaughtered like lambs. The giant serpent’s potential terrified them.
So, this time they are set on killing it once and for all.
Hua Rong’s inner thoughts became even firmer.
After a discussion between Hua Rong and Byrne, they finally felt decided to use some spaceships as bait to attract the great serpent.
This time, as soon as the giant serpent appears, the special gravity battleship will play its role, either slowing down and trapping the great serpent, or pulling it out from that special space.
After that, the rest of the fleet will concentrate its firepower on it.
A total of 18 such decoys were set up. They made sure to mix them up with the other battleships, in order to not make the great serpent suspicious. They never underestimated the wisdom of such a powerful creature.
After finalizing the plan, they immediately started acting, sending the baits out.
For such a large fleet, such subtle changes are very hard to find. Without a precise understanding of the fleet, its formation, and spaceship types, one wouldn’t think much of such a subtle change, and Fang Yun is no exception.
Fang Yun, who was hiding on the side, did not notice Byrne and Hua Rong's stealthy actions. At the moment, he concentrated on looking for the weak point of the fleet before launching an attack.
Although he destroys very few ships in each attack, for him, the most lacking is time.
He has a lifespan of 2000 years, and now his reputation value is infinitely close to 1 trillion. According to Fang Yun's guess, after 1 trillion, he should be able to get another bloodline.
At that time, his lifespan will skyrocket again.
Therefore, he has the confidence to slowly grind this fleet to death.
Looking at the fleet like a falcon, Fang Yun finally found a weak spot, then, with the help of the giant turtle, he flew near the weak spot and jumped into the material space.
This attack also went well. He ate one battleship and destroyed four spaceships.
This time the sneak attack also had a small impact on the fleet, but soon, this effect disappeared, and the fleet returned to its neat and orderly state.
Next, Fang Yun followed the same pattern and carried out several attacks. However, in the seventh attack, an accident occurred.
This time he attacked a weak spot in the fleet as usual, but when he wanted to turn around and leave, there was a problem.
An unusually strong gravitational pull tugged on his body, making him a few seconds slower, making him unable to reach the giant turtle’s location in time.
The consequence of this situation is that countless lasers shot towards him.
“Roar!!!”
Fang Yun released an earth-shattering roar. The moment the powerful gravitational force acted on his body, he knew that the opponent used a very powerful gravity generator on him.
“Boom! Boom!”
These laser beams fell on Fang Yun's body, blasting his blood and flesh to pieces. Numerous large pits appeared on his body, and his flesh and blood scattered across space, spreading over millions of kilometers;
He twisted his body, then quickly fled in another direction.
The direction he is fleeing in doesn’t lead towards the great turtle. If he heads towards the giant turtle now, the intense firepower is likely to break the stability of space and expose it to great danger.
As he fled, countless laser beams and even powerful bombs landed on his body. These bombs created giant explosions after touching him, billions of times stronger than the most powerful nuclear bomb on the blue planet. More than 2,000 kilometers of Fang Yun’s giant body exploded, turning into countless pieces of flesh and blood, then scattering in space.
“Roar!!!”
Fang Yun roared angrily. He turned his head and glanced at the fleet, then suddenly disappeared into the boundless space.
Because he was just on the edge of the fleet, he still had a way to escape. He dodged most of the incoming laser and continued moving forward. Anyway, his speed isn’t different from that of those laser beams, his reaction speed is the problem.
Eventually, he was pulled into the deep void by the giant turtle.
“Woo!!”
An electromagnetic wave suddenly spread around. After entering Fang Yun's mind, it automatically turned into a kind of roaring.
This roar was filled with grief and anger.
The giant turtle appeared next to Fang Yun, then looked at his wounds. There was a stream of blood coming out like a torrent. Large patches of flesh were missing, and even the bones could be seen.
Fortunately, the injury was quickly healing.
"Woo..."
It howled again with a look of grief, then its body started growing.
