-----------------
The atmosphere in the command ship was dignified to the extreme. Linna was no longer yelling because she was so scared that she couldn't make a sound.
Their situation is absolutely terrible.
Their entire fleet was annihilated by the giant serpent. of course, some battleships escaped, but this did not affect the horror and trauma the giant serpent brought them.
By now, Linna felt so regretful that her intestines turned green. She wished nothing more than go back in time and beat up her previous self that suggested to be the one to go on this journey.
In fact, it wasn’t just her, many people have regretted ever participating in this mission or coming to this unlucky place.
Otherwise, they won’t face such a terrifying situation.
"Attack!"
Guthro, who was standing in the middle of the crowd, suddenly yelled. He was the only one that was able to maintain complete clarity in such a perilous situation.
The soldiers subconsciously acted on his order, like machines that were geared to face such situations.
“Boom! Boom!
The weapon system of the command ship started to tremble as all the weapons were used without any consideration of the damage and durability problem.
Suddenly, an energy shield appeared around the command ship, tightly protecting it.
The weapons need to be recharged for some time, hence they need the energy shield to protect them from the serpent’s attacks. A few seconds later, the recharge was complete, the energy shield was withdrawn and the battleship launched another round of attacks.
The ship’s artillery and laser attacks were very fierce, forcing Fang Yun to use “Advanced Space Barrier’ to deflect them.
He has upgraded this skill two times, making it very powerful, but even so, some of the lasers and artillery still fell on Fang Yun’s body, causing him a lot of damage.
After all, it’s a top battleship from the fifth heaven. Its power is not just for show.
Even Fang Yun had to be careful when facing this battleship. The power of its laser beams is no joke. Just the fact that any of its laser beams can stretch for several million kilometers is enough to showcase its power.
Any of these laser beams can penetrate hundreds of battleships in its path. It can be said that this battleship is like a meat grinder in most interstellar and intergalactic battlefields.
Countless such laser beams flew past Fang Yun, and he rapidly moved around to dodge them. There is a powerful supercomputer in this ship, constantly calculating his movement speed and route, then sending accurate laser attacks to the precalculated route.
Fang Yun must always change his route midway to dodge the incoming laser beams or use “Space Barrier” to deflect them.
This battleship is very hard to deal with, unless Fang Yun gives up on it and leaves, he must work hard in order to destroy it.
While dodging the storm-like attacks, Fang Yun never stopped counterattacking. He didn’t even care about the occasional injuries he got but continued to attack as long as he had the opportunity.
His attacks were equally fierce. Facing the level 4 “Annihilation Antimatter Bomb”, the command ship also greatly suffered. Their energy shield could barely defend against it.
Facing Fang Yun’s fierce counterattack, the attack of the battleship gradually weakened. After all, unlike a perpetual motion machine like Fang Yun, they need to recharge their weapons from time to time, during which they can only defend using their energy shield.
This caused them to gradually fall into Fang Yun’s rhythm.
In the end, the ship's attack frequency became smaller and smaller.
By now, the ship basically couldn't attack anymore, it could only passively defend against Fang Yun’s continuous bombardment.
This is the biggest drawback of fighting with a single battleship.
As Fang Yun resisted the battleship’s offense and counterattacked in turn, the battleship is forced to defend, causing them to be unable to stop Fang Yun’s advancement.
As he got closer and closer, the situation of the command ship got grimmer and grimmer. In the end, in the despair-filled sight of Linna, Guthro, and the rest of the soldiers, Fang Yun swallowed the command ship.
This command ship provided him with more than 2 billion bio-energy points, the sum of almost a dozen small planets.
Flashing away, Fang Yun quickly returned to the battlefield. There are still many spaceships left for him to eat.
Although more than 90% of this giant fleet was reduced into fragments in the previous explosion, the remaining complete ones were still more than enough for Fang Yun to fulfill the 180 billion bio-energy points requirement.
Finally, he evolved again.
After this evolution, Fang Yun’s length reached 2000 kilometers. He also got 95 skill points, but this is far from enough to upgrade any of the current skills he owns.
Therefore, except for his physical attributes and size, his abilities didn’t improve too much, and now new skills appeared.
In addition, the bio-energy requirements for the next evolution have increased to 200 billion, but it’s just a matter of time.
"Now, no one will bother me."
Fang Yun hovered in the space with his head raised. Beside him, the giant turtle was flying around him, amazed at his current size.
It almost looked like a moon orbiting around a giant planet.
After praising the giant turtle for its assistance, the two of them continued moving forward. By now, they had completely entered the depths of the eighth heaven, and they are even about to reach the other side.
Now that there is no one obstructing or causing trouble for them, they can use their maximum speed to cross the eighth heaven, maybe, it won’t take them long to leave the eighth heaven.
Not long after the destruction of the command ship of the fifth heaven, the news reached the fifth heaven.
This incident created a vibration across the entire fifth heaven.
After all, it’s truly a big deal. Tens of thousands of ships were sent, but they were all wiped out? At the moment, they couldn’t contact any spaceship in that fleet.
There is no need to talk about the spaceships that were destroyed, they naturally can’t reply. As for the ships that escaped? They don’t even dare to send a message, and their reply is meaningless. Their fate was doomed the moment they decided to escape.
All forces in the universe have no tolerance for deserters. If they somewhat managed to survive with their broken spaceship, the only way out for them is to become space pirates.
"Sigh……"
In the deep space, A medium fleet was slowly moving forward. This is the fleet of the Eighth Heaven. They didn’t converge with Guthro’s fleet before but acted independently in this area of space.
By now, they had completely given up on fighting against the great serpent. Anyway, this pollutant hadn’t displayed any sign of destroying civilian planets and gathering up to now.
And their decision was correct.
It was because of their decision that saved their lives.
"Commander Otto, you saved us all."
In the control center of the command ship, an adjutant said gratefully to Otto.
In fact, at the beginning, there were quite a few people that suggested joining Guthro’s mega fleet. They might get some benefits.
At that time, they all felt that the giant serpent couldn’t survive in front of such a big and powerful fleet.
